I asked cos some people go under the knife to enable weight lose and then come and preach dieting...Some Naija celebs are guilty of this....Guilty of thinning out their waistlines and claiming diet...MBOK *yawns*

      Genetics and metabolism also.play a huge role.
      Exercise added with a structured diet makes you lovely while losing the weight...

      And yes, you can achieve this with keto within 4-7 months, if you are consistent without cheating

    5. You don't have to do swallow nah. Just eat your soups...and in a couple of months when you become 'fat adapted', you only eat when hungry....

      Add weight lifting and you will look better than this, I promise you. Can't send pics but 5months on the keto diet with lifting 3 times a week and everyone is in awe of my body

I work out and diet, but once I decide to try and eat a perfect meal or a drink the stomach will roll out like Dunlop, and am skinny, my hips have even gone in because of the exercise, breast so small. But this stomach, won't behave. I wish am loaded enough na to go under the knife sef. So Stella, I don't blame them. Any great suggestions will be welcomed abeg.

    2. You're on the wrong routines. Change your instructor. You should be doing targeted exercises and lifting weights. Your core muscles are still weak thats why your tummy seems to 'arise' easily. Lol. You need to get them firmer. See ehn.... excercises should meet individual requirements. That's why some have personal trainers. But we all can't afford that right?

      So, Stop your current routine. Eat right, for like 2-3 weeks (more protein) and change your instructor asap. If you don't go to the gym (for whatever reasons) look up workout routines for skinny girls on YouTube. You can do those at home. You will need to get your own dumbells and ankle weights though. Don't try to keep fit like your plus size friends. Wrong way to go.

    4. U need to build muscle, start lifting weights, it won't make you masculine but it would burn fat and build your abs. Don't just do only sit up and crunches do other tummy exercises with atleast 20 mins cardio. Go to YouTube and download Rebecca Louis ab videos(XHIT),it's easy and effective especially on the lower abs.

    12. You may have stomach diastasis. It is a medical condition. Has to do with thw weakening of one muscle thats in the middle of the stomach, Most times, exercise makes it worse sef

      Research it. There are only a few specific exercises that help with stomach diastasis but surgery is the end treatment.

      Again, research it and discuss with your doctor

  11. Stella, the truth is having a hot body over time takes a lot of work and discipline - especially with what we eat. Whether you're as skinny as me who is focused on building some muscle, or you're big and trying to get in slimmer shape.... it takes a lot of dedication and discipline. Many of us always compare ourselves with people who have perfect bodies and get away with anything they eat. But it's their body not yours. We can all have the body we desire if we stay focused on our goal and do things right. I'm proud of this lady, as I always especially am with people who have shed weight. This is why we must give it to Hollywood celebs who stay on track with their bodies for years and years. Because even with surgeries many still relapse to being how they were before- especially those who do liposuction.

    However, when I'm don't having my kids- if I'm not content with my core I will sooo go under the knife. And work out to maintain the curves. Can't be petite with a pouch. Nope. Never. Not happening

    Especially in the long run?

    What could be the side effects of heavily consuming animal fat?

    I like their inventions though especially the healthy recipes, it's just the fat (especially animal fat) that I still want to finish my research on.

    I always advise that one should only lose weight through a plan he/she can maintain for lifetime.

    Fitness isnt seasonal, its a lifetime course.

    Keto doesn't really do rigid exercises, so maybe keto can give that weight loss but that kinda tummy is serious exercise.

    3. It is the absence of carbs that drives ketosis and not the high fat as widely believed.

      There are types of keto - medical keto (now widely used to manage epileptic kids and even some cancers uses very high fat with the low carb and moderate protein)

      While for weight loss, you watch your fat because calories still matter. The peolle who go very high fat will lose in the first couple of months especially if they have a lot to lose ( because the lack of carbs loosens the fat cells and makes them drop all the water) and then it will stall and they have to readjust their calories and macros.

      Most Nigerians are doing low carb ( because they r eating a lot of veggies- cabbage and cucumber- Nigerian soups and moderate protein. They barely enter ketosis.

      Low carb ( carb under 100g) in itself makes you lose a lot of weight - keto is just the other spectrum of it where carb has to be under 20-25g a day.

    1. Anony, eat irish potatoes and much of fruits&vegetables. They're all food as well. Then before you eat, drink a cup of water. Eat at latest 6.00pm. Even if after that you're still, then eat fruit.
      And lastly, just know that to lose a baby weight is a gradual process, sometimes It takes years and not everyone has the same kind of body structure.

Thought there are special exercises that can bring those muscles back together. Exercise like side plank. Diasti resci is suffered by most women that have given birth.
