Sheriff spoke in Abuja when leaders of the party from the South-West paid him a solidarity visit.
According to Senator Sheriff, as important as the governors are to the party, they must not do anything that will further divide the party.
He particularly called on Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, who had been very vocal in criticising the leadership of Senator Sheriff to “respect himself and respect the PDP.”
