True @Victorious Ehis. It also gets rid of some of the waxy covering that prevents the noodles from sticking together. Not all tho. I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned in this article.
It's a serious problem cos it takes 4days for our digestive system to get rid of the wax.

But the MSG which is the excitotoxin is in the spice package. So you'll still be ingesting that. Best to stay away as much as you can.

  10. This is useful information. I have an ex that all she could cook was indomie. After all it's her best food. And damn she does it well. Though I preach against noodles but I can't resist it whenever she prepares it. I just hope this information will change her.

*****Sends pics ****** she replies saying "Rowland I'd quit noodles if you agree to get back to me.

    Hell no. Can't deal please.

    6. Anonymous 12:58. It's a pity you had to post this comments while hiding behind anonymous. Anyways it shows how much your self esteem has been battered. For your info it's not that Rowland that stays off Allen. And learn to stop degrading people especially my namesake Rowland. For the day you can create your own human being then you are free to judge. Pftttttttt

  29. If it was a Dr. Chijioke or Dr. Adamu that said this we would disregard it. Onyibo man don talk am we have agreed.

Ask yourself for as long as you have been eating noodles have you suffered any of the conditions he mentioned? Chinese eat noodles like crazy and are quite healthy.

My wife ate well prepared noodles all through her 3 pregnancies. No issues. Can we stop acting like noodles was personally prepared by satan himself please.

Parboil it, add generous proportions of carrots, spring onions, celery, pepper, shrimps or smoked fish, raw tomatoes with a dash of coconut oil and you have a well balanced meal please. Stop demonizing noodles please.

    1. When they are 50 and they don't suffer any of those diseases. Come back and tell us.

Chinese eat very healthy. And it's not the kinda noodles we eat here that they do.

      Stop classifying the two together

    2. Choi!...
      Correct!..
This is how I prepare mine except for the celery.i use cabbage instead...

You are right about the Chinese but they drink a lot of herbal tea which Nigerians don't!...

  30. I thought the increased in the amount of indomie instant noodles will make me stop eating but couldn't reason thank God have found a better reason to, so help me God😂😂😂😎😎😎

  31. Indomie is part of the reason we now have many young people diagnosed with high blood pressure. The extremely high sodium content could cause hypertension and could kill someone who is already hypertensive. The government should ban this product

  32. Haaa! Make una kuku kill me.😞😞😞

  33. We nigerians are very stubborn until we start seeing the consequences... People that couldn't stay away from MMM after several warnings until December when they started having ish....ordinary eating of noodles when no death has be linked to it ...it's what I'm even eating right now.
