Word For Today -Reciprocity.

Guess what? You cannot get what you are not will to give!

For God so loved the world the HE GAVE His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have an everlasting life!
John 3:16.

This is virtually the most conversant scripture in the bible. Quite a number of us recite it daily but have not taken some time to ponder on it.

Have you realised that EVERYTHING in life flourishes when there is reciprocity?

Infact nothing can survive without reciprocity!

Your parents give birth to you, they assume responsibility over your well being till you are mature enough to engage the world. And in due time, you are also expected to take good care of them when they start aging and are unable to help themselves.

Also, to keep living, we take in Oxygen which plants give out, and then we give out Carbon dioxide which plants require!

Life only works with reciprocity or it doesnt work! Anything that continues to draw from you more than it gives to you will surely drain you.. That's a blood sucker. And I say this even if you are the blood sucker, blood suckling another person! It is only a matter of time, the blood donor will fag out!

Yes, you might not have enough to give, but let your little be to the apex of your present capacity. Feed what feeds you.

No relationship can ever get to its apex without reciprocity. Be it Marriage, Church, Family, even your relationship with God.

WHAT DO YOU GIVE BACK FOR WHAT YOU GET?

Every great person you see today is in his moment of harvest. At a point, he watered his seed, nutured it, prayed about it and above all, gave it his everything! YOU CANNOT GET WHAT YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO GIVE!
You cannot be 'the you' that you did not sow seed for.

A certain Nigerian was adopted to be a house help at Hamburg in Germany.. He gave his everything to the family he served. They suggested regulating a monthly emolument to him, but He suggested they only take care of his schooling and leave off paying him. Today he is one of the most respected Professors in this country. WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE FOR WHAT YOU WANT TO GET?

God gave you His best gift(Jesus). Have you ever tought of what you can do for God? Sometimes, the issue
Is not that God hasn't answered your prayers, the issue is that all you do is request, request and request! Have you ever spent some minutes giving God praise without making a request? God has feelings and He loves us all equaly, but He responds to us based on our proactive interest on Him!

Friend, the size of your greatness solely depends on the degree of sacrifice you are willing to make!
