The baptism is taking place at my husband's Church, but I will make sure I registered him in catechism classes immediately he comes of age.
Big celebration it is for me and my household.

DeleteMy 26 year old househelp and my houseboy wants to finish hubby and I with too much eating, how can she finish eating dinner that she dished for herself and still eat from the bread that was meant for brekfast? D boy enters d store anytime he likes and takes everything he could lay his hand on, I have told hubby to get rid of that boy he won't listen, d only thing he does for us is to wash d cars, and clean d compound once in a while, d only reason I am concerned is that once he is done with the chores he will now sit in d sitting room and be watching Telly and I have two little girls in d house that likes playing with him and calling him uncle, he doesn't sleep in d house at night though. And to think we finish one dispenser water everyday in dat house, in this recession we spend 15k every month on just dispenser water. I am thinking of telling d boy and d girl to start boiling tap water and be drinking. beevees what do u guys think? We don't maltreat them o but I think we should cut down on d too much spending we do in that house caused by their excessive way of eating.

Anon 8.19 if you and your hubby are not careful, your domestic staff will literally eat the flesh and bones of your children and the two of you after eating the food in the house. Why are you so soft. Most of these househelps eat like idiots. I buy pure water for my domestic staff. They dare not touch my bottled water or dispenser water. They dare not enter my pantry without permission, w'on ya werey ni? Are they mad. They eat well but there are strict rules. I just noticed nigerians like to act like one big happy family with these 'ingrates' and always regret it. You must be firm not wicked. They have been with me for 4years now and they know my rules and abide by it. There is a line i have drawn physically and spiritually for my domestic help and they can never cross that line it in my home. You need to see how they shake for me in the house. When i help them financially they praise me as if i am their messiah.

Very funny life. Three years ago hen i got married, my mum drew my ears and warned me to never allow any family member stay in my house for more than two weeks. She actually meant my husband's family. Foolishly, i went to my husband and told him my mind. He agreed with me without complaining. My mother and sister are angry with me now cos i didn't allow my sister come stay in my house for her service year even when i explained to her it was our mother's idea. She is staying at the corpers' lodge but still pressing to come live with me. I cannot even tell my husband to allow her cos if he agrees, it will automatically open doors for his own family to start breezing in. Na wa.

I had to initiate a breakup over Xmas last year when I found out he was dating a sister's neighbour who happened to be Globacom chairman illegitimate pikin and a manager to one Nollywood actress married to Nigerian's Father of All Nations ( I'm a huge fan though ). We separated and mr ex started chatting me up again. I really liked him but my feelings were also part of the reason why we broke it up becos I told him I didn't want to get hurt. Our of all the guys that chat me up me this one I carry myself out. Cut the long story short....we fought silly last night over a false accusation he levelled on me and I was REALLY pushed to send that adenuga pikin my chat history with the guy out of anger. Up till now I still dey vex for the kain allegation wey this boy accuse me. He's apologized though but I don't know if I can forget it. My feelings for him still won't let me hurt him at all.
