Shout out to Babalola, baba Akindayomi(founder rccg) and baba obadare they preached till death took them despite the fact say no jet lee or exotic mansions.
DeleteNo be him get am the own is dead pastor Akindayomi
DeleteAnon 19:45....Adeboye ll still keep preaching. he'll probably do that till God calls him. The amount of work,he's doing, travelling around,is that the amount of work, the babalola's and akindayomi's did? It's bigger now. Get real. Only an unwise leader doesn't train a succesor.
DeleteAll the best sir......
DeleteGod bless you sir for a meritorious service. You touched lives in and out of Redeemed. You will be missed. Continue to remain relevant.
DeleteHe is still the general overseer. The new man is just the overseer according to the latest reports.
DeleteAdeboye will still carry on as usual, just that he'll now delegate authority with this man. No one ever retires from serving God until death.
OK bye
He is still the GO..... the person is just overseer of Nigeria. It's the stupid law our lawmakers made that prompted this. They made it compulsory that all GO's above 75 be made to retire of resign.
DeleteAnd they allow buhari to run the affairs of this country @ 78 yrs that's hypocrisy
DeleteGO dey retire???
ReplyDeleteHe didn't retire. Na paid employment? Read Olori T's comment below. That is the koko.
DeleteAdeboye is still the GO RCCG worldwide.
This information is false, Adeboye is still GO, he only appointed overseer for RICCG in Nigeria. He is still GO worldwide. Stella verify before posting.

Ayam not understanding
He didn't retire and he's not the owner of RCCG.
DeleteREAD Olori T's comment. 👇 thats the real situation of things
He is not the owner of the church, the mantle of leadership was passed on to him and now, he is passing it to someone else.
DeleteThe founder of the church is pa Akindayomi,so he doesn't own the church.
DeleteHe isn't the owner of the church. It was handed over to him also by the former G.O.
DeleteWhich mantle? Mchewww.

Freeze was out of line on this one.I actually respect Pastor Adeboye for this.He didn't retire from being a Pastor, but as the G.O.Not many can do this, for that...I duff my hat.
DeleteIt will strike you first for fornicating and disobeying God's word
DeleteYou have served the lord well papa adeboye....you truly are a good man of God
ReplyDeleteHis not dead
DeleteReally? May God uphold the new G.O and give him humility and the right people to work and make decisions with.

ReplyDeleteFirst pastor since I was born to retire.
ReplyDeleteLa swag baby... Step in
No he did not retire. He remains the GO of RCCG worldwide. We only have a new GO of RCCG Nigeria
DeleteRCCG GENERAL OVERSEER -NIGERIA: Please let it be known that Pastor E A Adeboye has not stepped down as the General Overseer of RCCG GLOBALLY . He has only appointed Pastor Obayemi as the General Overseer in charge of RCCG in Nigeria alone. This is in obedience to a new law in Nigeria that says you can not be General Overseer of any religious organization or NGO once you are 70 years and above or you have led that organization for 20 years and above. So, Pastor Obayemi is now the General Overseer for RCCG IN NIGERIA ALONE. Daddy GO remains the head of RCCG GLOBALLY PLEASE. This is the position so, let all agitation and anxiety stop please . GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
ReplyDeleteThanks darl.
DeleteStella this is the real situation of things. Adeboye is still the GO RCCG worldwide
Thanks for the explanation
DeleteThank you, retire ke they only retire in the grave
DeleteThank you for explaining
DeleteOK,I get it now.
DeleteOlori pls where can we read the entire new stipulations governing charity organisations ? When was this bill passed? Pls generally throw more light on it....thanks
DeleteOkay.....👍👍👍
DeleteCorrect
DeleteYou are not very correct. Go and read the statement released by the church herself. Adeboye is now the spiritual head and chief Missioner Of the church. There is nothing like GO worldwide in the constitution of the church. You cannot create a non existent position for him. that he has retired simply means he has retired. Try to understand the difference.
DeleteIt's amazing how people end up lies with God bless you, The G.S of deeper life is over 70 and is still ministering
DeleteAwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
ReplyDeletehmm, saw daddy freeze ranting about it on instagram and decided to check sdk, lo and behold..... let's wait and see
ReplyDeleteI don't understand or should I say I'm in shock.
ReplyDeleteMove up and read olori's comment
DeleteFreeze the anti christ
ReplyDeleteHe needs to rest abeg. Its not easy.
ReplyDeleteWow, I wasn't expecting this.
ReplyDeleteAll the people that said the new GO is still drinking beer in a beer parlour how market? Lol
Oh nice
ReplyDeleteHe needs rest
Of cos he can't head the church forever, he is getting old and there are other men of God apart from him. Not like he is going away or Wudnt be in service
ReplyDeletePRESS RELEASE
ReplyDeletePASTOR E.A ADEBOYE REMAINS GENERAL OVERSEER OF RCCG, WORLDWIDE..
Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye remains the General Overseer, Worldwide of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG.
A statement signed by Leke Adeboye, the clergyman's last son and Personal Assistant said the clarification is coming on the heels of misrepresentation of Pastor E. A Adeboye's announcement at the Annual Ministers Thanksgiving held at the redemption camp today that the Church Nigeria is now to be led by Pastor Joseph Obayemi.

Leke Adeboye reiterated that Pastor Funsho Odesola, will now serve as the new Church Secretary while Pastor Joseph Adeyokunu, is the new Church Treasurer.

This is a big lie, was in camp yesterday and he never mentioned that to the congregation, whoever is spreading this should put a stop to it.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a lie. I was in camp too. He said what he said during ministers thanksgiving this morning.
DeleteWhere you at the minister's conference? How can you say its a lie?
DeleteAt least now u know he didn't retire case closed.
DeletePastor E. A. Adeboye only retired as General Overseer for the RCCG in NIGERIA. The Redeemed Christian Church of God has branches/parishes in 192 countries of the world. Pastor E. A. Adeboye is still General Overseer of the RCCG worldwide.

ReplyDeleteMore Grace Daddy G.O,God bless.
ReplyDeleteIn as much as I attend redeem this is a wonder to me.
ReplyDeleteThe man know say if he leaves a lot of people go run from the church that is why they afe trying to bend the news and bring in mantle.
Back to catholic abeg, coz you can't tell me pope would retire or hand over mantle of leadership.
He is still the G.O worldwide while pastor obayemi is the G.O for Nigeria
ReplyDeleteSame way the Papacy can NEVER be a blackman so will the GO of RCCG, LFC, DCLM, FOURSQUARE, etc can NEVER have a non Yoruba as GO, GS or whatever nomenclature they choose to term it.
ReplyDeleteAn omniscient and omnipotent God shouldn't be involved in ethnic and religious jingoism.
Churches and mosques don't make profits but they extort members. What an ignominy.
Jingoism n ignominy kee u, akuko grammer
DeleteIf this new law is true i will say well done to the law makers. The era of running church like a personal business is over....if we believers will not discipline ourselves then the Lord will allow 'unbelievers' do the job. If anyone isnt comfortable with the new rules then go register as a taxable orgarnisation.....the era of hanky panky in the church is gone. Its the dawn of accountability for the body of Christ......
ReplyDeleteIf only you know the grand plan behind this? Its a bigger thing. These laws are actually made to weaken the church.
DeleteSee...instead of us to ask why this is happening. A lot of us are happy that the government is coming down on churches to regulate them. Really...? Look very well.
Exactly! How old is our President? What do they know about the structure of the church that they should meddle in its affairs? If only we know where this is heading the. We will cry out against this. Its an evil. The big picture is not to check the excesses but to weaken the church.
DeleteJust thinking out loud... Who made these laws? How old is our president again?? And them senators?? Why aren't they retired?? It is well
ReplyDeleteuhmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteGod bless you daddy Adeboye. The Lords Amry General
ReplyDeleteBy the grace of God I was at the ministers Thanksgiving. What polo idea to said is correct. Now the govt want to weaken religious organization especially the Christians. This calls for somber reflections. Check turkey that used to be a Christian nation have been reduced to a place where Jesus is almost not known brethren it started with things like this. The govt took over the church in Rome and introduced there laws and whatever ,that is why the church was later called the Roman Catholic. Its a pity that people like freeze who don't know anything about the church sit behind his computer and write trash and the gullible ones supports and agree with him.Brethren this is the time to preach the word of God.This period calls for wisdom, this period calls for God's direction selah
