Johnbosco Onunkwo Bags Chieftaincy Title





It was indeed a grand affair in Igbariam Community in Anambra State, the Eastern part of the country as one of the illustrious sons of Igbo land, Engr. Johnbosco Obinna Onunkwo was honoured with a superlative chieftaincy title as Dike Eji Eje Mba of Igbariam by Igwe Kelli the Okalakwu of Igbariam in the presence of Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe. Agbogidi, the Chairman Anambra State Council of Traditional Chiefs and other eminent sons of the state.


The event was filled with lots of fanfare and excitement as people from different parts of the eastern states gathered at the venue to honour this gentleman who is well loved by his people for his generosity.




High Chief Engr. Johnbosco Obinna Onunkwo is a vibrant,young man from Umuchu, in Anambra State and is well known in the state as a youth leader and philanthropist. 




Through his various business, Johnbosco Onunkwo has empowered many youths in Anambra State and beyond. It is on this premise that on the 4th of January 2017,the traditional ruler of Igbariam, Igwe Kelli the Okalakwu of Igbariam bestowed on him a well deserved chieftancy title as the Dike Eji Eje Mba 1 of Igbariam in the presence of Igwe Alfred Achebe,The Obi of Onitsha and so many prominent Kings in Anambra State.




 The Chieftancy title is a big mark of honour for his philanthropic works in and around Anambra State and his massive employment of youths in the state through his bottle water company, Vemita Premium Table Water in Igbariam. 



This has given the youth of that community and it’s environs a sense of belonging and achievement as it has brought rapid development to their community.

  6. I know him..he asked me out once but I was doing his friend so there wasn't any need..but in friend stingy die..if I had known I for switch..infact anyone all the staff in AGIP are stingy..very stingy lots

    Well I don't know who this attention-seeking,glory hunting tushbaby is but at least to an extent I know Chief Onunkwo. What we have here is a generous man,humble,kind,a genius,philanthropist,a proactive natural-born leader who hears all parties out in a situation before drawing a conclusion,a man who has the best interest of his people at heart. Iboland needs more of his kind. Anambra State needs more of his kind. Congratulations Chief...well deserved
