    3. I'm so angry right now, how many deaths more do we have to record before this good for nothing NYSC can be scrapped, how many of them had died in this course?
What becomes of the bereaved family after losing such vibrant young aspiring girls/boys?
No matter the compensation which I doubt can't match the expectations/intention of the affected family.
What's Federal government doing about this, why do we close our eyes watching what we can easily help?
I know some of you would say it was an accident, yes an accident that could've been avoided. If our problems have gotten to the extent of not valuing human lives then our problems are just starting.
Let's voice it out, via our SM handle before our families becomes victims.
God help us in this country but we contribute our quarter.

      Rest in peace Mary.

    4. Stella can you please make it a post, let's draw federal government's attention to these deaths it's becoming too much. They said they are serving their father's land really? What about them we elected to serve this country, their primary job is looting and forcing us into abject poverty now possible death πŸ˜•πŸ˜¬

    5. @Anon 10:57, should we scrap banks too since many bankers have died going from one branch the other.

Or do we scrap the Civil Service as well as civil servants keep dying from fatal Accidents.

Heck, we should even scrap schools while at it to prevent people from dying while traveling to school.

      Mtchewww!

    6. Hey people.. during your NYSC year you are supposed to travel only once abi na twice. That's the law, anyone who travelled without permission is on their own oo

  10. What a loss. Someone will spend how many years in school only to come back and die due to carelessness. RIP to the lady.
However the poster fails to understand that potholes are everywhere in this country and not that they will stop serving in the north if they are not fixed. Most northern areas even have better roads than this southern part.

  22. Na wah!

    God rest her soul.

It's not like corps members are always dying. We get to hear about them because of the circumstances (government property and all.) If she wasn't serving, the news wouldn't have been made public.
    Death comes at anytime.

It's just so sad. Painful waste.

Oh, and most Northern roads are better than the ones in the East here.

    Rest in peace, nne.

  26. Omg! My heart goes out to her parents and loved ones. After spending so much on her education and the stress involved in studying pharmacy in KNUST, only for it all to be in vain.. RIP beautiful one. Sebi it's the same Kaduna they want to divert Abuja bound flights to, may God deliver his children in this our nation, where our leaders care less about human lives, but more about their pockets.

NYSC SHOULD BE SCRAPPED OFF! A WASTE OF TIME RESOURCES AND LIVES!
It is because of greed that the decision makers refused to delete the nonsense program! Rubbish!

  30. Abuja kaduna road is a death trap and most of the drivers on that route speed like there is no tomorrow. When corrected they say na God.
On a recent trip, I shouted myself hoarse cautioning the driver. I did not allow him rest until we got to eastern bypass kaduna.
Returning back I just took the train from Rigarsa to Idu. Nice, air conditioned , clean and for 600 only.
    Rest in peace dear.

  32. This has nothing to do with NYSC tho. It was an accident she could have been a normal person travelling and still had same accident and died. There's no need throwing shades at NYSC instead we should pray for her soul. May she RIP. Amen

  33. Hmmm this bring back memories.
I remember very well, the last day of my service year.
There was a party organized by the local government chairman for some reasons i didnt feel like attending .
All my friends kept calling and calling i was home doing nothing but still didnt go.
Same day they started calling again by noon that they collected on my behalf my gifts(7,500k)a wall clock and i think jotter or something i just didn't feel like going.

Next day i was asleep a friend of mine a phamaciat started calling and calling again so i woke up, got dress to get a cab.......After standing for so long i couldn't get any, then a free ride came i rushed inside coz the sun on my head was something else.......I got there in no time met my friends we huged each other exchanged numbers, Facebook address etc collected my stuffs and was heading back to town.

Then I saw same guy I came with going back to town with another lady,I felt so lucky and entered the car again.
My dear,i was just pressing my phone minding my biz bf i knew it the lady in front was shouting Jesus,Jesus.
Omo,tire don burst car dey Summersault it then hit a tree and stopped.
They (the guy and the lady) got thrown out the lady was serious my bleeding but the guy was somehow okay I was left in the car,I could hear the guy saying we carried one lady save her shes inside but I couldn't move or talk.
They came to the back luckily for me nothing happened to the back of the car the damage was seriously in front.
But they couldn't bring me out my hand was stucked inside, they started dragging me and hitting the car they almost pulled out my hand they still couldnt bring m out, they said they may have to ise force for fear of the vehicle going ablaze.

Then suddenly i moved and i came myself miracoulsly with no scratch they were saying are you okay, are you okay I just couldnt talk only wannted to pee like hot pee.

At same moment my phone was ringing my mum was calling i just carried my bag I threw away the evil wall clock and whatever carried my self to the hospital coz my hand that was stucked had increased in size x 5
Accident is a very bad experience I don't wish anyone to encounter such a thing.

    May her soul rip.
