In her words “I want to talk to you guys about the tweet regarding the high prices of sanitary pads in Nigeria. This is not something we should take likely. I want to personally take it upon myself to give at least a thousand girls free sanitary pads, which they can pick up at any Slim Girl location in Lagos or in Abuja.
We are also going to be out on the streets, giving out free sanitary pads. If you are in a position to do the same, please help our girls. Thank you “

ReplyDeleteMay the Almighty replenish her pocket
The way prices escalated these few months was alarming
The last price I bought pad last Year was #250, only to go and buy yesterday and I was told it was #350
The astonished look on my face could tell it all
And I wasn't left with an option than to buy
Things are way too expensive
The value of money is diminishing by the day
God please intervene

This is really nice, Thank you so much Juliana for keying into the movement. This is what my personal project has been so far. I hope that she adding her voice to #Menstruationmatters will help #Smashtheshame and #Breakthebarriers surrounding #menstruation so women and girls can effectively manage their menstruation hygienically.
