Beloved, I'm still trying to get ready for school oo.. It just remains my toiletries and, o yes, I promised myself that I'll get hot plate this semester; I must be cooking, I can't be wasting money on canteen food again..
DeleteAbout to eat PLACARI WITH EGUSI SOUP (COW HEAD)
DeleteHere is what i ate for breakfast, i made it myself. I normally use semi ripe plantain or Irish potatoes, but I had neither of those so I opted for noodles it wasn't bad. With plantain is still my fav though. Here is how I made it used, using Tomatoes, fresh pepper, Onion, green pepper, carrots, grean peas, 2eggs, spice(1 knorr), 2 noodles, salt, chicken/fish/Turkey/snake whatever animal you prefer. First I boiled my noodles (without the spice, don't like them) and drained in a sieve. Then I diced all my veggie add in a big bowl, add the eggs, salt and spice. Flake your fish, or chunk your chicken/ Turkey or whatever animal you want to use, debone first. I used fish(eke`), then put the meat/fish plus the noodles in the bowl containing the veg and egg, mix everything together and bake. If you no get oven, use stove, that's what i used it came out fine. Leave it for like 45min e go don.cut it the same way you cut pizza and serve with whatever. Me am now a new convert of moringa so I ate mine with moringa tea and lime. I"ll prepare ofe oha later in the evening anything i see in the afternoon I eat
ReplyDeleteHahahhahahahaha @ I used fish (Eke)

The detain have gotten to 15 years now in jail, no trail, no what ever . News reaching us now is that the government have ordered that some convicts be killed!!!

I ate too much during the festive period and I added almost 2kilos, trying to loose it but I still I have a lot of hosting to do.
ReplyDeleteI just drank my cup of botanic tea in the morning. I later had a cup of warm whole milk mixed with raw egg.
I will be preparing beans soup later, a neighbour gave me some lettuce yesterday from her farm, so i'll slice the lettuce inside my beans soup and eat it later with grilled almost ripen plantain. (but I will fry some for my husband and son, because he likes fried plantain).
I'm preparing for my son baptism, it's a big thing here where I live. They celebrate it, so we are preparing. My son godparents came because of this. I would have preferred summer but I don't have a say in it. The decision must be made by the godparents and this is the time they were granted leave in their various offices.
Is there anyone putting the song of ZORO, Mabuza Mabuza on replay? To think I don't usually listen to all these new generation Nigerian songs. But I love this song, I discovered it during the festive period.
Sorry for the long epistle people....
Enjoy ur party Boo!
DeleteHahahhaha @ not eating much. I know the feeling. I ate like it was going out of fashion in Villa. And with each belch,I'd promise myself I wouldn't fall again.Lol
But For where? My mom was always visiting and bringing loads and loads of tasty dishes we just couldn't say no to. Martinellis(my second fave drink) I must have had on an average of three bottles daily! Chilled drinks are my weakness. Well, for party and festive periods mostly! And I don't know where The General got the tastiest palm wine I had ever tasted! They were distributed in small Eva bottles so it was soo easy to "fling" open the fridge and open up a bottle and guzzle it down. Right there in the kitchen!
I just couldn't say No to all d dishes at the numerous parties! At one party,it was Very tasty suya(this particular surya was soo tasty and soo hot tooπ) I was just eating stick after stick, consoling myself it was only meat and after all I wouldn't be eating anything else again that night. Never mind that the buffet table was lit. 20 mins later, d General whispered to me "What if there is Prawns on the menu?Oh I love Prawns! What if there is Chinese fried rice? And that was it!π
But the good news is that I weighed myself yesterday and surprisingly I am stil what I weighed before I went to villa and all that eating. So I have decided to go back to my healthy eating habit. Even though it's a bit slow as I found myself "tasting" the kids Pancakes(but please without syrup)and more than a sip of wine. But I wil get there. I know I wil.
Enjoy ur day Mrs R!
Kisses to you Ollie baby! Good to have u back dear.
