Aisha Buhari And Melinda French Gates Pictured At The State House.

Melinda Gates and her delegation were at the state house in furtherance of a previous meeting held in New York during the United Nations General Assembly last year, between her and the wife of the president Mrs Aisha Buhari where issues related to health and welfare of women and children were discussed. 

Mrs. Aisha Buhari expressed her confidence that the continuous commitment and support being implemented by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation in Nigeria in the areas of reproductive, Maternal, newborn child and adolescent health (RMNCAH), will help in bringing the needed change required to improve their status.


Mrs Gates urged governors wives who she said are seen as role models to use their voices just as the wife of the President is using hers, she said her foundation is working so as to lift up the next generation of mothers.
