Word For Today -The Presence And The Word.

"And the earth was without form and void, and There was darkness upon the surface of the deep, and THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED UPON THE SURFACE OF THE WATERS
AND GOD SAID: Let there be light, AND THERE WAS LIGHT!" Gen 1:2-3.

I want you to ponder on that passage of the bible.
The Spirit of God(The Holy Spirit) is the most powerful/active force on earth and beyond!

Nothing supernatural ever takes place without the Spirit of God being present to make it work!
During creation, The Spirit of God was first present, and then God spoke and it sure came to fruition. Everyone who did/do exploits either during bible days or now first had the Holy Spirit come upon him/her.

You are God's investment! He moulded a clay(your body), breathed on it and His breath(your spirit) activated life on the clay.

The two most powerful gifts God gave to man are 1) Jesus coming to salvage us from the bondage of sin, and 2) THE HOLY SPIRIT that has come to live with us and to guide us according to all truth!

The Holy Spirit is so Important, Jesus did not do any miracle yet, until He was Baptised and The Holy Spirit came upon Him! The Holy Spirit present in the life of Jesus while on earth was the powerful force that accomplished every word that came out of Jesus' mouth.

Look at what Acts 1:8 said, "And ye shall receive power, after THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS COME UPON YOU..." It did NOT say after you have prayed, but rather, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you. Wow!

Don't get it wrong, prayer is important, very important. In fact prayer is the only means through which you can communicate with the Father. But it takes the presence of the Holy Spirit active in your life to bring your declaration into manifestation.

As a believer in Jesus and His finished work on the cross, praying in tongues edifies you and activates the power that God deposited on the inside of you that you probably do not know about.
If you are a 'Speaking in tongues' Christian, try this. When something happens and fear wants to grip you, speak in tongues for a while and notice what happens. Fear will dissappear!

All it takes to have the Holy Spirit active in you is to confess and believe Jesus as your Lord and saviour, and then, Desire Him(The Holy Spirit).

Jesus has already done the required. He prayed the Father to send the Holy Spirit to us as He(Jesus) ascended to heaven. The Holy Spirit is available, all it takes is to DESIRE HIM today!
