The top scorer in last season's Nigerian Premier League Godwin Obaje has joined Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel on a long-term deal from Wikki Tourists.
According to BBC He signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the Tunisian champions after a medical on Tuesday.
"The club has demonstrated a tremendous confidence in me as a striker and I hope to deliver," said Obaje.
"It's a huge step for me to make, I believe I have the right ambition and desire to succeed with Etoile."
He scored 18 goals in the 2016 season to help Wikki Tourists to a third place finish and a spot in next year's Confederation Cup.
Obaje's impressive form in the domestic league led to an international call-up from Nigeria's manager Gernot Rohr.
He was on the bench when Nigeria beat Zambia 2-1 in a World Cup qualifier in October.
