It has always been like this since I was growing up making me so embarrassed when I see the neighbours. I got married 5years ago and moved to my husband's house and swore to myself that I will never live like my parents. I haven't visited my parents for the past 3years but decided to come home with my family only for them to wake us up with their usual quarel and insults to each other. My children are asking me why grandpa and grandma are fighting as they have never witnessed such before between my husband and i. I am so embarrassed, sad and angry. I am packing, we are going back to Abuja because this is getting too toxic. Just wasted my time travelling down thinking they've changed. Now my 5years old son is asking me questions I can't even answer. Next thing they will get back to school and start telling their friends. Holidays is ruined before it even got started. I am just so sad

Is it by force to buy Christmas cloth when they have something they can wash and iron to wear? When I was small, my parent used to buy new clothes for us every christmas because that is the only time we have the opportunity for good clothes. Other times it is okirika. Been ttc for 5yrs plus, lost my job, hubby and i practically spend much on treatment, had up to 3 recorded miscarriages.need more treatment but can't afford it right now. Done the ttc post twice, still waiting for my miracle. federal govt are yet to pay their staff November salary. Unable to send down things to my parents for the yuletide season or play little Santa to my nieces and nephews like i used to and they have already called in their demands. Anyways, i am grateful for life and opportunity to experience God's amazing works. My prayer for today is that God will give me a testimony that will sound like a lie and put a permanent smile on my face,on the faces of my loved ones,also on your face Stella cos you're doing a unique and fantastic job. Now your little brother is a pilot and you seem ok, I have to enjoy the fruit of my labour. My only regret is not having many kids to have distributed around the world to enjoy different currencies". No wonder there's always new girls in the house, when you ask, she says they're intelligent and their family can't afford to put them through school so she's helping.
