Rain Of Blessings, Miracles And Charities As Apostle Suleman Hosts Lagos ‘Fresh Fire’ Crusade

  “My name is Johnson Suleman, I hear God and I carry your miracles.”

 Those were the words of exhortation said by the founder of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, as he kicked off the third edition of the ministry’s Lagos crusade tagged ‘Fresh Fire Conference 2016’ on Thursday, 15th December, 2016.

Ecstasy was indeed an understatement to describe the joy that enveloped the conference as the two-day power-packed conference was loaded with prophetic encounters which are normal occurrences where God's ambassadors are converged.

It was made manifest at the conference that lamentations of hearts ended. Miracles happen everywhere and anywhere, according to Suleman who is known as ‘God’s Oracle’, ‘so, when God is ready to help a people, He will send a prophet.” The Lagos conference was indeed an end to negative stories and beginning of new glories. Because God is still using His prophets to restore, renew and refocus, prophetic encounters still happen all the time.

A young man, Ademola Adeniyi who lives at 23, Oworotimi Street, Ijegun, Lagos, was among those met with divine encounters on the Day-One of the conference. In life, storms must come, charged Suleman while he prayed for Ademola who had suffered paraplegia, which affected half of his body and both legs making him unable to walk for years. With faith, the affected man swung from the wheel chair and walked. Also, a teacher, mother of six, experienced divine healing at the crusade. Ngozi whose marriage suffered hitches and seriously impacted her health, was prayed for and healed of blood pressure that was threatening her life.


On the second day of the conference, a blind woman had her sight restored by a junior minister, Pastor Courage Imolore, who after being transferred with an anointing for the miraculous, laid his hands on her.



The conference sessions involved not just healings, prayers and deliverance, it also witnessed divine visitations. Apostle Suleman, while ministering, urged his congregation to believe that they can be exempted from economic disaster. According to him, Christians should avoid such evil agenda like MMM because “redemption has marked Christians out as peculiar citizens. We are special envoys of the kingdom of God on errand. We are ambassadors of Christ and thus should operate under the economy of the heavenly country. No matter the state of the economy on earth, it cannot affect us. We always stay in command,” he said, adding that “but only those who are obedient to His plans will be in financial dominion.

There was the testimony from a man whose marriage life was non-existent because, according to Suleman, “there existed in his life a family curse that he would never marry.” In October 2016, the man encountered God at a revival hosted by Apostle Suleman and there the ‘God’s Oracle’ delivered God’s message to him that he was going to be married in December 2016. “I had faith, I believed the prophecy but the time factor became my worry because December was just two months away. But to God be the glory, it happened. I got married in December,” the man confirmed as his testimonial was greeted with loud applause.


A woman, an egg distributor who saves the meager she gets from her business into her pastor husband's bank account because she had no account of her own, also received her blessing. After hearing the story how the woman has been the major source of income in the home, God's servant announced that he would give the family one million naira (N1, 000,000) to help the family. Soon after, other pastors in the ministry led by Rev. Fidelis Ayemoba, started adding up and the donation got to N1.9m. according to the woman’s husband who with their children attended the Lagos conference with her, he had vowed to ‘leave’ if after the New Year things still didn’t improve and the wife continued as the breadwinner.


And behold, a 73 years old woman was raised from the dead on Thursday 15th December 2016. She came back to life after two hours of prayers. God returned her to life, according to Apostle Suleman “ because of her good works.”

This woman was said to have been involved in the distribution of free Bibles to people for years now and she has helped people of various backgrounds at different times. Typically, as she opened her eyes to life again, the woman announced to the congregation that she was giving a piece of land owned by her in Ajao Estate in Lagos for a new branch of Omega Fire Ministries. This offer came from the woman just as congregants demanded that another branch of OFM be launched in some areas of Lagos including Ajao Estate, Ikotun and others.


The conference coincided with the unveiling of the new Lagos auditorium of the OFM by Apostle Johnson Suleman who was honoured to perform the official opening. The new branch was completed in 33 days.

“I was not just called to pastor people; I was also called to change lives," was Apostle Suleman’s divine declaration as curtains were drawn on the two-day conference.
