DeleteThere's still Barclays in Ghana though

ReplyDeleteWow!! It could be possible again but this requires Devine intervention(God).
ReplyDeleteIff eat lyks

Deletehahahahaha. Everything is possible by God. since it is vuhari ko possible rara. Even God knows it is not possible in this country.
ReplyDeleteChai. When things were things.
That was when ala bu be osa abi urulu
ReplyDeleteHehehe
How did we get here?
ReplyDeleteNo, it can never be possible again, not when we rely on importation goods to survive.
ReplyDeleteLike Fela Anikulapo-Kuti will say... E no possible, ko shen se
ReplyDeleteHOW THE HECK DID JONATHAN AND CO LET THINGS GET THIS BAD?????????
ReplyDeleteOh Nooooo
Jonathan ke? Hmm the guy has left long ago before the steep fall in our forex
DeleteGood governance
ReplyDeleteWow, a bit above 1naira. Good old days
ReplyDeleteSeeing stuff like this makes me sad!
ReplyDeleteSuper sad!
Just got off the phone with my friend and we were reminiscing the good old days. Things have soo changed its mind-swirling! You enter a shop with a bag of money and before u know it,the whole money is gone. Not just gone but with just a few items to show for it. She is in villa at the moment and is in disbelief at how
Much she has spent on diesel on just 5 days!
And Things soo hard that you wonder how the not so-fortunate cope. Was at that market yesterday and saw the despair in some market women's eyes. I had to buy off all the veggies I didn't need off a young teenager just so I could help him. And rest easy too.
I gave my Driver and my laundry man their Christmas envelopes yesterday and my driver just broke out in a dance!
It was soo touching! And surprising too.
He is a gentleman.A man of few words and carries himself soo well.Calm,composed.So seeing him dance is just so out of character.
Not all change in life is permanent. With God we will recover and be Great once more.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
And May God the reason for the season be our everlasting Joy! 🎉🎉🎉
Merry Christmas dear.❤
DeleteIt's crazy babe!!
DeleteI can't even haggle prices.
I walk into shops and just pick up items off shelves, then go to the market and decide that this woman carrying ugu must sell it for 100 naira?? I can't even bring myself to argue in the market about prices. Shebi na myself I dey do?
Things are so bad that I don't even know who to help and who to leave...
It is saddening I tell you. Everything is expensive..
This fx issue hurts me more... because I know how things were so you know affordable.
Electronics are double the price, small business owners have folded.. they can't even afford ticket to go buy their goods.
It's sad!
This your post should have made it to spontaneous,so I can whine some more.😂😂
Merry Christmas darlyn 😘😘😘😘😘
I heart u tgw, jisieike, asim gi jide ka iji. Omume gi asogbugom, ejim gi eme onu. Ndi ime eligwe chekwaba gi na ezi n'ulo gi. Ka emume ekeresimesi a mepere gi onuzo ohuu na aha nke Nna, nke okpara na nke muo nso! Amen.

DeleteMerry Christmas and compliments of the season to you too sweetheart.
DeleteAww @ your driver dancing!!
Keep spreading the love and good will of the season to those around you Nneora.God bless your kindheart.
As for the Naira and Pound well,we can only continue hoping for the best.
Awwww,Ekenee mu gi Oga Krix! God bless u too! And ur fam too,Amen! Nwoke di nma Na-eme nma! Kenelu m Oriaku go,Ezenwanyi obi gi! Si ya Na Chukwu agozigo ya ooo!
Delete@MISS Truth and Rosie! Helllooooo Darlings!😘
@Iphie,my dear the feeling is the same everywhere! I just pray things change! And fast too! It's soo sad, just sad. I just pray no one gets to go hungry this Christmas. And may God also keep using us to bless people. Especially now.I have a few more to go and I can say "God You know I have tried"
As per the not arguing,I know exactly how You feel! I can't quantify how much change I have left for market women and the likes. Can't just bring myself to take the change from them. I said I bought veggies I didn't need. Totally didn't need! And as I shopped around the market I met that same young man like three times still hustling to sell his wares. Under the sun! The okro women with their wide hats and wares under the sun. Did u see the sun yesterday? Tennagers and adults too. Its just soo sad! Wish there wasn't too much suffering in the world!
It's well jare. I just hope at the end,the weary find everlasting Happiness in Heaven. That's the only thought that Consoles me when I think too much about them.
So how are you Bunny? I know u are good.Let me get started. Oh! How I dread packing!!!!
#CantWait!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Merry Christmas sweet Diva!!
DeleteBut you know that these people prefer to believe what makes them sleep better at night?
Who am I to collect sleep from their eyes??
I read some jargon here and I shake my head.
If only they knew half of it.
Caught dead***
DeleteOnce upon a time.
ReplyDeleteWhen things were still good....
ReplyDeleteIf our currency is restructuring by a way of decimalisation I think we can achieve that. 🙄
ReplyDeleteNo way,It caneeds never happen.
ReplyDeleteOh the mighty has falling. The good old days.IIts well.
ReplyDeletewhen we start to utilize our resources efficiently, diversify our economy, and become a producing and exporting country, then we can achieve something close to that.
ReplyDeleteBefore Nigeria turn jaga!!!!
ReplyDeleteWas at the market yesterday to restock the kitchen and get ingredients for Xmas cake. Ordinary margarine was 200 naira, something that was sold for 100 few months back. Good morning oats nko? 600naira! I open mouth cos I used to buy it for 200. The most heartbreaking part of it is that it can never go back. We are Nigerians and we all know what obtains here. Once the price increases, it never decreases. The naira can never go back to what it was in the 80s. Let's just pray that a miracle happens and it atleast goes back to 200 or anywhere around that neighbourhood.
ReplyDeleteThe Nigeria Barclays bank is now union bank,if you do history of commerce
ReplyDeleteIt's possible but in our.......dreams!
ReplyDeleteGood to know
ReplyDeleteIt can be possible if we dejavu
ReplyDeleteBy the grace of God things will return back to normal again
ReplyDeleteThe Grace of God is already here but greed and stealing mentality will not let us grow.
DeleteIphie darling it's a long story o . I have a full house, children are home, my sweet in-laws are with us for Christmas also. Have a blessed Christmas love.
ReplyDeleteIt can go back to what it once was. When we being to u utilize our resources, get involved in exporting our resources, we'd be fine. Nothing is impossible. In the twinkle of an eye, civilizations crumble as civilizations rise.
