It said a circulating deployment was not endorsed by any official because it did not come from the ministry.
The ministry noted that Ambassadors cannot be deployed until prospective countries of posting give consent.
A statement by Sola Enikanolaiye, permanent secretary in the ministry said “Members of the diplomatic community and the general public are therefore advised to disregard any news on the purported deployment of the 47 career ambassadors-designate”.
Meanwhile, the four-day induction course for the Ambassador-designates ended on Thursday.
The programme was declared open by President Muhammadu Buhari.
