ReplyDeleteNot just Tailors, most hand skilled men are like that, they're always busy but ur stuff wldnt be ready, you'd practically sit with them b4 they touch it.

ReplyDeletenot just tailors ooo, carpenters too, imagine i moved into a new apartment i contracted a carpenter to do carpentry works for me, paid 55k out 70k, this was in October, i have not seen the carpenter till now, he keeps giving one story of how his father died and one week later his elder brother died, December is about to end but i promised he will celebrate new year in police cell.stupid guys.
ReplyDeleteOmg. Dis comment has ' keed' me. Lmao
DeleteLol,tailors can be very annoying but since I have a sis has seamstress I got no worries anymore.
ReplyDeleteHehehehehehe😂😄😅
ReplyDeleteLol hilarious
ReplyDeleteAs in eh.
ReplyDeleteTheir own is too much. That was how a bride literally begged her tailor for her chief brides maid dress on her wedding morning last weekend.
I felt really bad for her after paying the guy plenty money he disappointed her. The chief ended up wearing her bridal shower white gown of the previous day for the wedding proper.
I'll so deal with the tailor
DeleteMy tailor is young and very good. I do not bargain her prices and I never owe, infact most of the time I pay in full when I am dropping the clothes that need to be made
ReplyDeleteIn October, my tailor did the unthinkable, I was on a wedding train and she didn't make my cloth, I just strolled into her shop the day before the wedding to pick up my cloth and she said she thought it was the next week.
We were just 2 bridesmaid for this wedding, and the bride really begged that the 2 of us turn up as she wanted us to do a dance for the groom at the reception.
I didn't say a word, I just stepped out of her shop, she texted me later that she would be done in the morning and I should come and pick before the wedding.
I got there the next day, She was done, I took the clothes to see if it fit and then my hips would not enter, I didn't say a word throughout this time, took her another 30 mins to readjust.
By the time I got to church, the bride was already in, the church has no side doors, so I had no other entrance than to walk down the aisle myself like I was the bride. I kept begging God not to let me fall flat on my face.
I got an apology text later that night from her.
Your tailor feels like an angel to me already...even an apology text too? Impressed!
DeleteLol...
ReplyDeleteNigerian tailors are the same, they can disappoint & frustrate someone. They can't keep to their words.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless Everyone.
Kwakwakkwakwa am at my tailors place in wunti market ryt now. I don't vex sotey I come dey beg the idiot. He is still on the design na here I go sleep today. Him don jam wahala.

ReplyDeleteLols, Nigeria tailor and disappointment 5 & 6

ReplyDeleteAre you wicked
Do you have a strong face
Can you say mean words very well
Then you can be a Nigeria nurse 😂
Ahahahahah😂😁
DeleteLol. You are right, but not all of them.
DeleteI do see the way Nigerian nurses act so rudely in movies and it amazes me,is that really how they are for real?
DeleteMama nuku, you're ignorantly foolish. Not all behave the way you described above. Maybe you've being visiting private clinics where they have auxiliary nurses that behaves anyhow. Next time think before you talk .
DeleteUngrateful Nigerians hating on nurses for no just reason and when they come to hospital they will start forming " aunty nurse oremi"
The thunder Dt will fire that ur mouth dy do pressup Continue ur visit to hospitals full of quack aka nurse Eliza. The same Nigerian nurse ur type badmouth are 1 of the best in devlpd countries indeed ur likes of Nigerian don't deserve them. # proud nurse # noble profession #
DeleteBoth 'nurses' that typed in 'defence' of the profession ,just proved nnuku right•
DeleteLol
ReplyDeleteOntop the attitude some will still disappoint u
Hahahahahaha
ReplyDeleteYes oo
Some Nigerian tailor can frustrate the living day light out of you!
ReplyDeleteMost of them can't be trusted, though some of them are very great at what they do.
That was how one of those that tagged themselves fashion designer destroyed my very first hollandaise back then. I was just crying because the wedding I was wearing the clothes to was about three days away.
She herself was also angry at herself, she was asking me if she should go and get me a new fabric; my conscience wouldn't let me say yes to her request.
I just told her to find a way to remedy the situation; she tried to fix it but it was already damaged.
I had to wear something else. I never bought hollandaise again after that experience.
Very funny meme, but it's not funny when it happens to you for real,a tailor did same to me 3yrs ago,it was so painful and so hard to bear.i went to learn to sew by fire by force to avoid stories that touch, now I sew my own clothes myself but am not a public tailor
ReplyDeleteYou are a private tailor then.
DeleteYes ooo I am now a private tailor if you call it like that. The case with me was even worst,it wasn't just the disappointment,I already collected 2 of my clothes and was due to collect the remaining 3,gave the tailor like 2months period and paid for all.she didn't sew my clothes and her stupid excuse was that I haven't paid her, imagine the anger I felt, and she doesn't give receit,I paid for all in full, she charged me £60 for each 3 gowns and 2 skirts and blouses and then claimed she forgot I paid her,and I needed my clothes for a family function, this tailors can have a habit of changing their attitude like a flash, you'll be wondering if this was not the same person you've been having a laugh with before.some psychotic tailors.am free of them.
DeleteHahahhahahha,true talk
ReplyDelete@Tee_y
Hahahahhahahahahahahahahahah.
ReplyDeleteI suffered alot from some wicked tailors.
I just adviced myself and registerd in a tailoring institution.
Very very true cos I know I change tailor everyday as they keep disappointing
ReplyDeleteNot only tailors. I have been on my plumber to come fix the toilet flusher for over one month now. Everyday he is close to the house, but I never see am.
ReplyDeleteMy tailor is the president of disappointment.
ReplyDeleteDude got me angry, I had to leave with the pieces of my material. It's still with me self. Will use it as rag.
Hahaha. Mummy Chi this is so you 😀😀😀
ReplyDeleteHahahahahaha! Them never change ooo..still same same!
ReplyDeleteMost tailors are hard hearted but i had an encounter with the worst of them all on the 10th.
ReplyDelete10 of dec was my friends wedding o and most if us in the train paid and sent our measurement abt two months back. Madam was supposed to use duchess silk to make our gowns. 2 weeks to wedding iyawo went to the tailors shop to collect our gown so we can test madam wasnt in her shop but told my friend that the gowns were ready and will bring them. In the midst of the preparation iyawo no bother again (after all tailor don sew finish).
A day to the wedding 'madam tailor abeg bring d gown o so we can test and amend'; 'okay am on my way'.
3hours later 'where u dey?'
'there is traffic o'
9pm 'how far? why are you not here?
i am at the estate gate'
10pm- griinn grriin ( the number you have dialed is switched off please try again later)
Naso everyone begin try tailor number for where.
My friend couldnt sleep o. By 5am the number was connecting.
'Aunty what happened why didnt we see you last nyt. where are you now?'
sorry please am in d estate now on a bike to your house.
Thank God we were happy. Madam tailor finally showed up we started testing our gown.
except mine and two other girls every other gown had coma even the chief bridesmaid. Worst of all she used bridal satin, did not whip it and one even have hand(i laughed when i saw that one)
My friend surprisingly was calm.
Tailor: i will take them back to my shop for ammendment.
Iyawo: i beg you come back by 8:30 so we can get to church on time my wedding is by 11 and church is verrry faf plus traffic.
Men and brethren we left the house by 20 past 10 madam tailor never return every tym we put a call across it always am almost der. ir der is traffic. My friend cursed swore cried was furious even her elder sisters were furious. I had to act as chief brides maid till the original came in during d service.
Moral of the story. when its my turn, either i but already made or no bridal train.
TAILORS ARE WORSE LIARS THAN LAWYERS (SORRY)
Wow..that was very wicked of her..mscheww
DeleteHahahaha...
ReplyDeleteI can't relate with this
because I make my cloths myself when I have time, I don't do for commercial purpose tho coz I'm a lazy tailor but i make fine and modern dresses
When momsy was forcing me to learn I tot it was punishment...
She literally dragged my ass to go and register with a very good seamstress during one of the ASUU strike when i was in school and I'm forever grateful for that.
#Notice your anger before it takes you over, and you do or say something you regret*
ReplyDeleteVery annoying especially when they know they are good.
ReplyDeleteLol@ I go sew ur clothes well😂
ReplyDeleteLmaooo. So true. The only way to get your clothes is to lie to them by bringing back your date of collection to avoid stories that touch and with some of them still, its still the same disappointment you will get.
ReplyDeleteLol... So true
ReplyDeleteAm sitting on my chair with my sewing machine in front of me n typing this.
ReplyDeletewell its not all tailors that disappoint, i know cos i am one of such. its obe thing i hold dear- never disappoint your client, if you cant meet up tell dem like 3days b4 d agreed date for collection. and its working for me. most times its greed dat causes al d disappoint. u already hv enof clothes to make n u no u dnt hv enof manpower yet u continue to collect more fabrics n giving d same period for their collection.
abeg my break don finish. i dey season biko!!! no tym.
Are we still patronizing Tailors when there are all kinds of bend down boutiques?
ReplyDeleteEven if I give my tailor a dress on the 1st to collect on the 20th,its either I will sit with her to sew the dress on 19th or I get it same day of the event,I wonder why?
ReplyDeleteSame here. January I'm going to learn how to sew
ReplyDeleteO well. Abuja tailors frustrated me with my cloth, and i was pushed to buy a sewing machine without knowing how to sew. I started from there trained myself, I know a lot of u won't believe i trained myself. I av a shop in central area, I DONT DISAPPOINT my customers. I give 3-4 weeks before u can get ur cloth except if it's express. I know tailors are terrible cos the ones that work with me are terrible. Pls we still av some honest ones.
ReplyDeleteBrings back memories. Last year my friend was getting married. I convinced him we should ask my tailor to sew the shirts for the 5 of us. Sent this guy his money, he took our measurement and we entered voiceNote. I explained everything to this tailor o. 2 months Notice,we wanted to make 5 shirts eventually increased it to 10. I was the only one who use this tailor so if I don't leave with the shirts on the day I was to go meet the groom, then we can't have the shirts for the wedding.
ReplyDeleteLet me just conclude by saying 4 of the shirts are still with me 1 year 2 months after the wedding, plus we had to do Mission impossible driving on the day of the wedding looking for a boutigue on an enveromental sanitation Saturday. I can't wear them because they are different sizes and same designs, can't deliver them because we live in different cities too and we aren't close
Lmao 😂 😂 😂
Deleteit not just tailor
ReplyDeletealmost all these artisans behave like that
our electrician has been saying his coming for d past two weeks and we are yet to see him
Hmm...Tailors... Am a private tailor, Had to learn how to sew but for medical reasons I stopped for a while. My sister-in-law always come in handy, she will leave a customer's clothe just to get mine ready and I sometimes tell her, I'm using the clothes a week before the occasion to avoid stories that touch. Will resume sewing soon.
ReplyDeleteNdi Olu aka Nile bu Ndi ara from tailors, carpenters, plumbers, mechanics, Mason, bricklayers, electricians & welders are worse, but we won't throw them away but abt 98% of them are so unreliable & untrustworthy. Disappointment is their Nick name
ReplyDelete@Godwin thanks dear typing error chop kiss
ReplyDeleteAba tailors can deliver, no disappointment. They sew your cloths to its best. We can design more than any state in nigeria
ReplyDeleteLol
