Fool, can't you read the handwriting on the wall? Yes, Gowon in '66 when Nigeria was fresh off of independence. Now, these same men of a certain age don't want to sit down and let the younger ones take their plc and run the country. They're too busy holding on to the titles for their dear lives, not wanting to give up power because they are greedy and power-hungry. What happened to the youth our leaders of tomorrow? They won't even give these younger ones a chance. But they can remember how old they were when they started in politics. Smh and they do it in other countries as well including the US.

If 70 is the new 40, then why is civil service retirement age pegged at pegged at 60/65? Even the people that drafted the constitution knew that after 70, diminishing returns is inevitable.
