If you read Toke's narrative you'd see that this lady didn't really break any home. That marriage was non existent from day one. Or better still, Maje was "married" to both women, only he let the world recognize the one that likes showbiz.

@sisi eko I agree with you. Anita had always been in the picture even before they got married. I just finished reading the book and this is what I deduced from it. Toke loved and looked up to her parents and she secretly wanted what her parents had. Unfortunately for her, Maje came along and Toke thought she could mould him into that perfect man she wanted, she thought in her head that if she takes anything he brings her way eventually they will both have that perfect love story. Maje knew this hence why he kept coming back because he knew she would take him back and continue this perfect love fantasy. Toke grew up in a loving home hence why she desperately searched for love. Toke and Anita were both victims as they were both in this crazy love triangle before the set go. Toke had so many opportunities to leave but she chose to stay. Anita had many opportunities to back out but didn't. They both knew what they were getting into. Lesson learnt : YOU CAN NEVER CHANGE ANYONE UNTIL THEY ARE ACTUALLY READY FOR CHANGE.

Toke is just a scorned woman with so much bitterness in her heart, she should not project her failure on anybody, she saw the signs and ignored it. Now blaming Maje and Anita for her inferiority complex and lack of self esteem. And yes she is a chronic liar, lies to herself and everyone around her. Why are we glorifying this empty drowning woman, she should go and find herself.
