This happened on Monday afternoon in Enugu state, after picking my kids from school, I went to Zenith Bank presidential road to cash some money, then I drove down to Roban Stores on Bisalla road not too far from the bank. A security guard directed me to where I parked, very close to the mall entrance, went in with my kids to buy just 3 things, from the inside I notice people screaming I came out with my kids only for me to see that my window on the passenger side was shattered my money and phones were collected, just under 5mintues.My car was right under their cctv, they told me is not working. Secondly that this is the 4th case they are having of robbers following people from same Zenith bank "presidential road branch" to Roban. My question, is why can't roban get police men to be within the mall? All the management could say was that cars are parked at owners risk. Please Roban and Zenith presidential road branch Enugu what is the problem?

ReplyDeleteI am so pissed right now. Two different clients booked make-up appointments for make this morning. One came first and I was working on her even though I told her I would stop and do someone else's makeup when she arrives, because it was that person that initially booked first but was running late so I had to start with the makeup of the one who arrived the studio first. I and the lady who arrived 1st (i.e the one I was working on, on borrowed time) agreed on 4k for full face makeup(including contour highlight and all the orisirisi) I had already done this lady's brows and was working on the eyeshadow when the other lady who's time I had borrowed to work on the 1st lady came in. I had to finish up with the 1st lady's eye-shadow and put everything else to a halt so I could work on the second lady. The second lady and I agreed on 8k because I was using high end makeup products on her, I mean really high end products like Becca face primer, sacha butter cup, ABH brow pomade, ABH contour Palette, Black up foundation & finishing powder, sigma brushes, Mac fix plus, mac lipsticks and morphes eyeshadows. The second lady left after I was done, only for the first lady to tell me to clean up her makeup and use the same products I used on the second lady on her. I told her no problem but it'll cost her an extra 5k. This lady started screaming o, and she did not make down payments before. She was screaming that I am a cheat and that I am biased, that why will I use such good and expensive products on one client and then use anyhow products on another. To be continued below...

ReplyDeleteImagine this guy oo, Onyeka or whatever they call him. He was supposed to pay me on the 25th, the guy just forged the proof of payment and uploaded it then harrased me to confirm! Forwhere, I did not confirm anything but reported the issue to support and this guy kept on sending fake pops and stll I never confirmed. Can u believe this guy just paid me on the 29th and then was calling me that I shud confirm now now coz he wants to GH because its MMM pay day Tuesday. Hahahhahaha, I told him for all the silly games you played, I will confirm when the funds u sent on the 25th arrive. Now the silly guy is begging me and I still have not confirmed.....I'll confirm Friday for him. Nonsense, he thinks he's the only one that can play the game.

...The funny thing is the products I was using on her were equally good(marykay timewise that retails for about 6k+ in my locality right now, hegai & Esther brow gel, no7 beautifully matte face prime,BH products, LA girl products e.t.c) . I had clients waiting for me and this mad woman was delaying. There was no way in hell I was going to use same products on her ontop her 4k na. When she was about leaving without paying for the brows and eye-shadow I had already invested time and products on, I told her her to come sit so I could clean and start over with the expensive products. The lady foolishly sat down. I cleaned up the make up on her face then I left her, and went on to work on someone else.She sat there for about 30mins and by that time, my other clients had already started laughing @ her. When she realised I wasn't gonna do Nada on her, she just stood up and left. I don't know y people tend to under price facial makeovers. Before I underwent makeup training, I used to pay my MUA good cash because I knew the look I wanted. It was when I sat down and calculated how much I spend on makeovers every weekend(I am the groovy type, go out every weekend and always looking good) that I decided to go and learn the art,@least I can do my makeup myself and on other also and earn some cash in the process. Please pay your MUA's well, especially now because makeup products are damn expensive in Nigeria. Makeup has been my saving grace. I graduated Uni. with a 2.1 and could not get a Job for a year plus. My handwork was my fall back, I am very comfy right now, even though I have a bf who gives me money when I ask(huge money o).I bought my first car by myself, I own the building where my makeup studio is. All these I did with my own money. I only use bf's money for shopping and trips. I currently train 2 of my siblings to school. 1 in the uni. and 1 @ secondary level. I guess what am trying to say is,you ladies should get something doing please, those @ home awaiting admission please learn a trade and make sure its one you have passion for. Those in the uni. already, learn a trade during the summe hols. It was on in the uni, ylwhile on summer hols I learnt the art of makeup. It was my present bf who was also my bf then that sponsored my training. The funny thing is my bf did nt even finish secondary school. He learnt electrical wiring. It was while working for one big Staff in the most notable oil company in Nigeria(wiring the man's house) that the man, move by bf's expertise recommended bf to management for immediate employment. And that was the bf landed his job there and the keeps getting promoted till date. Mind you, we are engaged to be marriade by march. He's 28 while am 24. Surprised? don't be, it's been God all the way.
