I am BV freshroses,I visit the blog everyday but seldom comment as I find it difficult to type, but I go manage type this one.lol

I have always hidden the fact that I met hubby on 2go of all places.This is the first time I am telling the story straight cos its awkward to me, normally I just say we met online.


It was sometime in November 2009, I was bored and sleepless one night so I logged in 2go and found one chatroom can't even remember which,but I was the only female username and all the guys were like tryna get my attention.I told them I will randomly pick a guy id chat with for the night.of all the usernames, 'bloodybaron' caught my attention and I added him up.

That was how 'vanessaluv' (me) and 'Bloodybaron' (hubby) started chatting o and it got sensual and we had sexchat that night.i wanted to delete him next morning and pretend it never happened but I overslept and woke up to a beautiful text and roses smilies from him.

Chats became a habit and without realising we got soo attached.When im on call (I'm a doctor) he will stay awake leaving messages for me to find. We agreed to exchange real names only after 3 months! I was apprehensive,what if he was someone I knew?so I gave him a fake name checked him on fb to make sure he is ok before giving out my details.
We kept getting closer n closer, yet we did not exchange phone numbers in his words he knows if he listens to my voice there will be no going back for him.

We were chatting one day when he spontaneously asked for my number.it was butterflies all over again..will he like my voice will I like his?
Our first call was 4 months after our first chat.from then on it was mtn magic number 24/7 calls.we practically slept on phone.we knew of every move of each other.

No mention of 'I love u ' o..but the feeling was deep.i was glued to my phone always.

One day, after a stressful hospital call about 4am,i returned to my call room eager to read his messages.he was waiting for me on the other side.we started chatting and as he was saying goodnight, he wrote 'I love u'...I'd never forget it..the font was bold red, the font size bold...I was quiet cos I was full of nerves then he started typing apologies thinking I was offended.he was carried away blablabla but then I quietly typed 'me too' and from then on it was a rollercoaster.


He now fixed a date to see me a journey of 5 hours Kano to Abuja..

It was february 10th 2010 the first time we met physically.we were both shy n nervous thank God for the friend he came with, who kept yabbing us and leading the conversation.we were both tongue tied but we loved what we saw.Went to silverbird for our first date. He made a promise that day that ''this time next year you will be my wifey''.

Our first kiss was on my birthday.we never had sex until marriage,only the usual touchtouch...lol

We got married 12th feb 2011 2days to Val and we are blessed with 2 beautiful kids.

I must say social network really helped our cause.Even now we chat like crazy when we are apart and when there is a 3rd party with us,we exchange naughty messages.Also when we have misunderstandings we somehow clear it by chat and when we see each other its as if nothing happened.
