I didn't even notice him because I was so busy but at the end of the day he came up to me and said he has been watching me all day, then offered to take me home. Just this night he walked me home and we met my dad at the gate, he introduced himself as the the man that would marry his daughter . and the rest is history.

Deleteanyway,we gisted a lil and I knew that I knew that I knew that I really liked him there and then.I liked his presence,his aura and all that.but alas..I was in a relationship,so I didn't give him too much green light.but he took my number,and from time to time would send me happy new month text msgs..this was August 2008.
When my then relationship finally ended in 2011,he found out and came at me with full speed.toasted me 360 degrees.hehehe.I made shakara for 9 good months before I finally agreed to date him.and as soon as I said yea..he made me realize that our relationship was altar bound.I met his mum shortly after..we got married in 2014.this has brought me fond memories.

DeleteI was in 100l in university. My friends and I went to to canteen after lectures to eat . Normally we bought water and was trekking back to the hostel. One of my friends wanted to open her satchet of water and it fell from her hand, she didn't want to pick it up and me being a broke ass then wasn't having money to buy water na , hoping when I get to the hostel I will drink water , I jejely picked it up, cleaned it and drank it, one guy watching us from far was stunned that a 'university" student can do that, we later became husband and wife lol

ReplyDeleteFirst time i met my wife was in my church she came with her sister, she danced so much when the praise and worship was going on that i noticed her but did not have the chance to talk to her. Couple of years later i was driving around in my neighborhood looking to buy oil as a bachelor then when i saw her again this time i spoke with her and offered to drop her in her place only for me to find out we stay on the same street all this while. The rest they say is history, been married for six years now and still loving her even with our ups and down. Marriage is not always perfect but with God we get to work things out and be happy. Love you babe.

ReplyDeleteKnew my hubby way back in church, but he attend the outstation of my parish, we practically just say hi anytime we bomb into each other on the street or during joint church programme, June 2014 he added me on face book and we got talking, in July we heard our first date, it was cool and i visited him twice and the third visit, he proposal like i was dreaming, i rejected told him it was too soon, but i was shocked this guy has studied me for 9years for area and said he knew he was going to marry me when he was ready for marriage, heard our intro in November and did our wedding in 2015, is going to two years and God has been good to us, his mercies are new everymorning, cant thank God enough for accepting to be his wife.

She said its not something we can discuss on the phone thay she wants to come over. didnt knw it was all staged for his brother to see me. The dau she came, i was cooking,looking so unkempt with jagajaga hair,no make up and akwa eji anoo na uno. she asked me a little question about my school and i was like(in my mind),we wld hv talked about this on phone instead of spending unnecessary money coming to my house cos her husband was on dialysis then(God rest his soul). I was working for my dad after I finished from secondary school, bf was one of d engineers that comes to see one man like that in d complex my dad's office is. He walk past my dad's office alot, I sit at the reception alot cos of boredom, I don't watch tv, not a TV person. I used to carry one of d shop owners daughter since her mum is always busy. One day, bf walked up to me and asked if the girl is mine. I said no. We started talking and then one day he asked me out "I have a message for you,it's in a bottle, you have to get the message out of the bottle without breaking the bottle" I no kuku understand, it wasn't pretence. So I told him I didn't understand. He broke it down. I donno if I said yes but we started dating. He follows me everywhere, to my computer school, to go write post jamb in universities. By the time I got admission, he travelled out of the country. We were still dating and the distance wasn't helping. I had other bfs but it never worked. We got back together (we never really broke up) we're still together, I've known him for over 10years. We are getting married but I don't know when. I love him, and I know he loves me genuinely too.

ReplyDeleteI met my DH in church, that day we had a combined worship. The moment i saw him i knew i had seen him somewhere before, then we exchanged pleasantries and i asked him 'do you worship at so so branch?' he said yes 'are you so so persons sister?' and I said yes. We exchanged address, that was how friendship started o...me being the nice, shy and naive girl i didn't think anything would come out of the friendship. It was years later manchy told me that he actually came to church that day to look for a girl friend and unknowingly I made it easier for him. He was on my matter for long though i enjoyed the friendship but refused to date him. His friend told him to just ignore my refusal and act as if we were already dating. Manchy played the advice out and was all over me, I never said yes to him, years later the story changed each time we are together he will start telling me how 'our' wedding will turn out, what he will put on, who he'll choose as best man. It continued like that until I started planning with him unconsciously today we are married and we have an adorable daughter.
