Family, friends and guests who attended Obiora Obiwon's Floodgates Album Release Concert mostly described it as a spirit-filled experience!
The music minister unveiled songs from his 4th career album entitled "Floodgates: The Beginning Of The New Overflow". The album announced over a year ago finally made it's debut on Saturday the 12th of November, 2016 at a concert featuring special guest acts Onos Ariyo, Kenny K'ore, Koffi The Comedian, Jodie, Kike, Donna Ogunnaike, Adaora, Edo Charles, DVD among others. Also in attendance was the DG Budget Office and Senior Pastor of the RCCG The King's Court, Prof. Ben Akabueze, Obiwon's childhood friend and music entrepreneur Illbliss Ogaboss among many others.
Highlights of the new album include instant attractions Oh Jesus, Jubilee featuring Nathaniel Bassey and When I Say I Love You Too, a duet love song featuring Obiwon's wife Nkechi! Previously released single Bunibe is already nominated for the 2016 NMVA along with other previous single releases making the rounds.
The singer has made the album available for full streaming on SoundCloud and Spotify, while full album download is available on on iTunes here. Physical copies are set to debut on major retail outlets in the new week.
