The man was sworn in as acting CJN. He is yet to be confirmed by the Senate.
The question is why they are yet to forward his name to the Senate since he was nominated over a month ago.
The possible answer.. they are probably waiting for the maximum 3 months tenure which can be served by an acting CJN to lapse thereby preventing him from being renominated for the position of CJN. i.e. act for 3 months and bring in who they want!
