Heartbroken By Viral Photo.

*Deep Sigh*.

I just saw something that sent me into shock, too shocked to cry,too shocked to do anything but think....

I remember when my boys were 7 years old...They were little babies before me and i would do anything to shield them even if they steal,I will stand by them and shield them harm's way.

I saw the photo of a seven year old boy roasted alive in Badagry or so because he stole garri....
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ROASTING HIM ALIVE?OH GOD send thunder to whoever it is!

This is so horrible and the culprit(s) must pay for their crime.

I am lost for more words and i am sorry that i cannot post the photos..OMG!

    1. All of una get mind. Even as a man, the headline alone put me off. I couldn't open it. I didn't sleep well despite the fact I didn't see it. I wonder what could have happened if I did. Nothing makes me cringe like cruelty to kids. If you want to see Pure Wickedness, you don't need to go further, come to Nigeria. Usually, the animals that indulge in this horrendous sacrilege don't make me puke as much as the "normal" people that stand and watch and even takes pictures and videos of the act.

Thank you Anon 05:21,God bless u.You wrote my mind exactly.i can't stick d pictures,I can't stick d videos,I wonder who filmed it?Are they human? Then the culprits,do they sleep well at night, they go home and eat as if nothing happened?like they didn't just take a life?do they have kids, brothers, sisters, parents? Are they normal like the rest of us?The questions are endless,You see I don't really give a flying freak if the boy is 7 or above 7,what makes me want to SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM!!!is the fact that they took a human life.I absolutely abhor violence, I hate jungle justice,I hate all manner and forms of wickedness to another human.

  5. My dear...i heard about this boy too and I am really sad. Even if that boy stole garri, the right thing to do would have been to give him a proper meal...and if the person is a decent human being, try to find out about his family. Rather those animals burnt him alive, just like the aluu 4 boys. Poverty turning Nigerians into savages. Some days I hate this country.

Who will do such a wicked thing to a boy of 7 years. It is despicable and barbaric.
The bible says if a man steals food, he should be let off and some more food be given to such a fellow.
Now a 7 yr old. Yes, stealing is wrong. But a boy who steals garri, for heaven's sake doesn't that spell hunger?
Whoever did this oh my...am sure the boy in his mind would have been thinking it's only garri is not as if he took money. Come on people, has it become so bad that we want to just deal with people no matter how small the offence?

A little lad who doesn't know his left and right. I feel pained, I feel hurt. Out of the crowd, no one could replace the stolen garri? No one could say No to injustice ?

Times are hard. NOT everyone can afford a square meal. I won't say the act of stealing is not a crime.. But y would a 7year old be killed unjustly? Is the punishment or jungle justice equal to the offence. Nothing, I repeat nothing can be equated to human live....

This should sound as a note of warning to mothers who are lackadaisical in training their children. Charity begins at home. Without doubts we know this boy must have been stealing at home and in school before he graduated to the market place.

Some of us are so fake we we'd go to shoprite and pay for an item with inflated price without haggling jus so we can feel big..meanwhile we'd drag and haggle price with the poor widow selling Oranges by the roadside- a business she runs to keep her family alfoat...this hurts.... we are all meant to be Angels...lets take cues from the Angels on this blog and be helpers and not jist beggers. 81. This is absolutely barbaric!, and it is quite pathetic, that no one could come out and plead for him. Nigerians when are we going to learn?
All those people standing there and watching that act been meted on that poor boy have committed murder! Yes MURDER!!.
Most of them who did that to that boy stole that day...is it because no one caught you? why not go and do jungle justice to Fani Kayode, Dopkesi, Ajumogobia and others that were accused of stealing millions, we see them everyday, they leave in our neighborhood why not throw stones at them even if you can't get close to them, but we have power over a poor boy without connection or body guard.
Everyday We do worst than what that boy did, yet we pray to the Lord to forgive us, am sure the boy must have pleaded enough, yet the conscience of all those standing there were darkened against him. The blood of that innocent child will be upon all of your head except they repent.
No matter what he might have done, let the Law of the land be in charge...

  82. The funny thing is there are always policemen along badagry road and I repeat ALWAYS. And there were none to save this poor boy. If you made attempt on saying him the mob would have attached you too and called u an accomplice.

  83. I saw the picture too and he was really thoroughly beaten. I would rather believe those who said he was 23 and stabbed his victim because Lagosians bad oo but e neva reach like killing for garri. On a flip note, have you been victim of home or traffic robbery in Lagos, you would sometimes want to just close your eyes to the pity party (provided it's confirmed he is a thief) because they are veeeery mean to their victims too!

  84. Lord have Mercy! I haven't watched any video nor seen any photos, and I can't bring myself to see a thing like that; because I'm too sensitive and fragile.

Why can't put a law against all form of jungle justice in Nigeria? Who made them law enforcement agencies, what makes them think they have the final say in any criminals life?
I remember when I was a teenager in the 90's in Lagos, that was when I first saw the act of jungle justice, I was watching people screaming and running up and down, saying they have put used tires round the two young men neck and set them ablaze. I was watching them from the balcony, that was one of the worst thing I've ever experienced in my life.

This is/was an evil act, even if the criminal was an adult, they are to get hold of him and take him to the cops.
The devil has a palace in Nigeria and many Nigerians are his palace servants.
