A Highway In Arochukwu Forest.

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, his Deputy, Hon Udo Oko Chukwu and his Commissioner for Works Hon Eziuche Ubani during inspection of the 7km Bende-Idima Abam Road in Arochukwu LGA of the state.

The road which is 60 per cent near completion, is the brainchild of the Ikpeazu government. 

A year ago, there was no road called Bende-Idima Abam, but today, the forest has given way and in the next six months, the road will be commissioned...

    Just by it's looks, you can tell that road won't survive one wet season. It is just a shame that we've had terrible governance since 1999.

    Done with a low quality stone base but the inherent problem I'd that the road has inadequate drainage in what is obviously an undulating terrain....It won't last 3years.

    Nne no office taken, when I was growing up as a child I lived in Onitsha which people always describe as dirty bt when I went for holidays at my uncles place in Aba. Even as a child I was able to point out how dirty and unkempt Aba is eventhough I was coming from the dirty Onitsha. Aba is very very dirty.
