President Buhari Responds To Allegations That His Cousin Mamman Daura Is The One Ruling Nigeria...

Note that Weeks after this interview was granted, Aisha Buhari made headlines for insinuating that her husband’s government had been hijacked.





Speaking in an exclusive interview with Osasu Igbinedion on 'The Osasu Show', President Muhammadu Buhari, disclosed that there can only be one head of a country, and at the moment, he is the one.

There have been reports that Alhaji Mamman Daura is so powerful and is actually the one ruling the country. The nephew-uncle relationship is described as extremely strong and dates back to their childhood years.



The president described reports of overbearing influence on him by some individuals known as cabals as mere speculations.



Asked to react to a report that “Alhaji Mamman Daura is the true president, while he’s the unofficial vice-president”, he said: “I don’t know where they get their news from.

“I stood for the election, I visited every local government in Nigeria, I traveled by road, by air, and so on, and we had one of the most credible election. So whoever feels he has lost somehow is his own problem, I have no problem.”
