Abians in the Diaspora repping!
Hi Stella,
Yesterday I was privileged to attend and photograph a townhall meeting here in Houston hosted by Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu. It was hosted by Abia State community organization leaders in the city. Houston, Texas boasts the largest amount of Nigerians living in the United States and the city has the largest amount of Abians in the diaspora. The venue was full of professional Abians and beyond on person and on a conference line who have vested interest in the progress of the State and who are prepared to invest in companies and building schools in Igbo land.
I was pleasantly surprised at how intelligent he and his administration are moving the State forward. In front of a packed house, the Governor detailed his completed works, plans and hopes for the State. He was asked tough questions by the guests and they were all impressed by his answers. They praised his accomplishments despite the road blocks he has faced during his tenure. The Governor was able to secure and solidify investors that will show his dedication to elevating Abia.
Personally, I feel in these economic times, many people find it would be the best time to bring investment home. I know I will be.
I would love to send you these good photos I took they are attached along with the invitation for the event.
Thank you.

DeleteWell done to the governor and his team for what they have done so far.
ReplyDeleteThey should fix the Ohafia-Aro Road. That road is scary and disappointing.
Na for houston you wan to move abia state forward namsense people Phd for money laundering
ReplyDeleteSee his face like obele eke.
ReplyDeleteWhy is the Mr O not spotted? Abians need serious prayer on the elevation of the state. Who know if this is a sponsored post.
ReplyDeleteStella they are dressed like that because Houston & the state of Texas dey HOT like sub Sahara Africa. Temps can hit above 40 degrees Celsius 6am during summer. It is one the southern states in the US. They usually don't see snow at winter; that's when the weather is beautiful. The only thing bad is their rainy season, flooding every where.
ReplyDeleteSo now in Houston the weather is so accommodating while in the East Coast USA we have our cold coats our some days.
I'm just happy
