Nigerians Are No Longer Eligible To Seek Asylum In Germany

Germany has banned Nigerians from claiming asylum as the German Chancellor said they were not fleeing from Boko Haram but they want easier life.

German Chancellor, Mrs Merkel stated Germany is no longer able to protect Nigerians in the country after 10,000 Nigerians applied for asylum.
She said they presume Nigerians came for economic reasons but it seems they are all looking for easier life.

“We presume that most of them came for economic reasons.”. Speaking after her tour of Mali, Niger and Ethiopia.
So far this year more than 10,000 Nigerians have applied for asylum seeker status in Germany, and 13,000 have applied from Eritrea.
The country is the most sought-after destination for migrants, partly due to Mrs Merkel’s policy to open the borders to them.

This is in contrast to migrants from Iraq or Syria who are fleeing war and persecution in their homelands, notably from bloodthirsty regime ISIS.

She said not all Nigerians who claim to be fleeing Boko Haram are doing so, and are therefore ineligible for international protection under the conditions afforded to asylum seekers.

*Chai, this is bad news for some people oooooooh. There are some already in Germany in refugee camps whose status' are being investigated or in court.
Here, once a Nigerian is in refugee camp, they are quickly advised to get any woman with Pali preggy..lol

    2. For once lets be objective. Nigerians have abused this privilege. Many seeking asylum have never been to the North east. How many months does it take to reach Germany via the sahara and sea before we start blaming Pmb.

    3. Nigerians that I know in Germany are enjoying, it's not a poor country as you say. They don't even work everything including rent and food are given for free. The only problem I hate about that country is that black people are looked down on they can't get a proper job,not even bus driver or security jobs. I hear it's difficult for black people to get nice jobs. Ireland is the same. If you want a career come to the UK.

    4. You are in US working hard yes of course, it is even a privilege you get the job. Here unemployment is on the high side. Companies are folding up on daily basis. Even with the salary, you cannot afford to give your family a good living. Cost of living is extremely hard now.
