Empower 54 Project Inc is an Atlanta based international non-profit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance such as medical missions, hunger eradication, educational, woman and girl empowerment, and refugee programs to underprivileged Africans.
They have become official partners with Feeding Children Everywhere, an organization commitment to providing the healthiest meal possible for children and families around the world through a specialized nutritional meal created by a nutritionist made up of Lentils, White Rice, Dehydrated Vegetables and Pink Himalayan Salt.
Together both organizations have commenced the process of sending almost 1Million meals to underprivileged communities in Africa annually.
The first shipment of 140,000 national meals are on their way to Nigeria and will be distributed by Empower 54 at their nutrition center in Maiduguri for the malnourished children they evacuated from Bama in June 2016:
The Founder/President/Executive Director or Empower 54, Princess Modupe Ozolua met with the FCE team in Florida yesterday and received a tour of their facility and witnessed the loading of the first shipment of meals for the underprivileged communities they serve.
According to her, "We are honored to partner with FCE. Our organization strongly believe in creating partnerships that share our values...which is founded on saving lives! This we've been doing since 2003 and our obligation is to help underprivileged Africans, not just IDPs.
Annually, these meals will be given across the continent to save lives and we welcome everyone to follow Empower 54 on Facebook, twitter and Instagram to nominate communities they know will benefit from these meals. Don't forget to send pictures to support your nomination! We will be giving these meals to communities and continue saving as many lives as possible."
Archbishop Desmond Tutu is empower 54's Patron and Vampire Diaries, Kat Graham is their International Goodwill Ambassador.
