Wife of Central Bank of Nigeria ( CBN) Governor, Mrs Margaret Emefiele, kidnapped some 24 hours before, has been released by her abductors.
According to family sources she was rescued “due to the gallantry of the Armed Forces, Police and Security Forces”, in Ugoneki near Benin City and is currently recuperating in Government House, Asaba.
THISDAY and other mainstream media had delayed the story, Friday due to an appeal from the Emefiele family given the sensitivity of the negotiations for her release from the kidnappers yesterday.
*I am happy she came out alive..just wondering if they paid that money requested by the idiots.I am sure they will deny paying but i hope the notes were marked to catch the idiots later....
Glory be to God!
ReplyDelete80m was paid heard d kidnap was orchestrated by his brothers bcos he doesn't 'fend' 4 dem! Crazy... *reporting live from Agbor*
DeleteSharp sharp them for pay,Ideato better behave yourself or them go kidnap you, the bad part be say you be born throwaway and your spiritual husband no better person see you. Winch
Delete*no let better person see you. Demonic entity.
DeleteThank God
DeleteEgo* di!
Is it the money they would be trailing
DeleteI'm sure they'll catch her abductors. If not, then a big shame on the Nigerian police force if money was actually paid and nobody was caught.
DeleteHappy independence Nigeria! I pray things get better
ReplyDeleteUnder 24hrs...that was pretty fast. Yet the chibok girls are still missing.
DeleteOh well...
Of course they paid
ReplyDeleteThank God.
ReplyDeleteAm sure they paid ransom but will definately deny it
Negotiations. Meaning money changed hands.
ReplyDeleteNice one.
ReplyDeleteNaija my country
ReplyDeleteGood to know
ReplyDeleteMoney has exchanged hands sharp sharp but as usual they won't admit so as to discourage future kidnappers.
ReplyDeleteOf course. Otherwise they'll keep recording high profile cases of kidnap everyday.
DeleteThank God
ReplyDeleteMrs korkus, did I read where you wrote make notes?
ReplyDeleteMadam, most of those kidnappers are graduates, so they are wise professionals...
ThankGod
ReplyDeleteIf she was released because of the gallantry of the armed forces, then why didn't they catch her captors
ReplyDeleteAsk themoo. Deceit everywhere.
DeleteIt's a good thing she was saved and no life was lost but just like the saying "na condition make crayfish bend". Nigeria go better. Udo di.
ReplyDeleteHahaaaaan, Stella why are you calling them idiots.. they would not have hurt her. They just needed the money. When there's nothing to survive on, the poor will start eating the rich. I'm glad the kidnapers now know where to channel their anger on. They should keep kidnaping the rich(those that enriched themselves using government funds) obtain money from their families and free them.
ReplyDeleteTrue. The poor will surely eat the rich. The rich are not invincible Afterall. They sure paid.
DeleteIdiots you sat? How about the other idiots who wake up and make policies that affect the common man without thinking twice??
ReplyDelete*said*
DeleteAwwww. Thanks be to God.
ReplyDeleteThank God,she's OK.
ReplyDeleteThat was pretty fast too. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteHa,they will pay, after all shey the whole of the Nigerian armed forces were sent to rescue just one person, imagine the life of a common man in this country, where most lives are lost or kidnapped, the armed force aren't sent to rescue them, just cause she is the Cbn wife.
ReplyDeleteGood news. I believe they paid something if not all.
ReplyDeleteThey have submitted the handsome randsome sharp sharp..
ReplyDeleteNo be naija again?
ReplyDeleteOf course they paid and no, the notes weren't marked.glad she is okay.
Thank God for ur life, madam
ReplyDeleteGlad she is rescued and hope with other kidnapped along with her...They would have paid but not obviously that outrageous amt or nothing close to it (1.5bill). If not payment made, maybe arrest would have been made along side d operation
ReplyDeleteThank God
ReplyDeleteEmeka Anya said.....
