Alameiseigha’s Wife Says ''PDP killed my husband''

The widow of the First Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Late Diepreye Solomon Alameisegha-Magareth, has said she knows who killed her husband.

She blamed the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the death of her husband, saying the ordeal which led to his death started with his removal from office, arrest, trial and seizure of his properties by the leadership of the PDP.

In a chat with Leadership, Magareth exonerated the leadership of the All Progressive Congress, APC, from the events which led the death of her husband.

She said, “I can categorically say today that it was the PDP that arrested my husband, seized all his properties and humiliated him to the point of his death.
“It is PDP that killed my husband and not the APC. It was PDP that arrested my husband, it was PDP that humiliated my husband and killed him. At the end they seized everything that belonged to him.”

“It was the PDP that tormented my husband and he died as a result of the humiliation he suffered in the hands of the PDP. As far as I’m concerned, they humiliated me and took everything away from us,” she added.

Alamieyeseigha passed on at the age of 62, on October 10, 2015 barely two days after he reportedly slipped into a coma and was placed on life support at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital,He was committed to mother earth at his Amassoma country home in the state April 8.

  21. If that is the case, madam wife, pray tell, why was your husband retired from from the Air Force? If not for Nigeria being the way it is, what your husband did when he was in the Air force would have ensured that he would not even be able to win common Principal member elections in his own family.

  28. That PDP, which your husband belonged to, killed him. Did they shoot him? No. Did they poison him? No. Did they place something for him to 'march'. No. Did he steal Bayelsa blind? Yes. Was he arrested charged and put to jail for such theft? Yes. Did he disguise to escape justice? Yes. Were plenty stolen money recovered from him? Yes. Was he downcast because both losing money and being shamed? Yes. So why not mourn your man in silence? I don't know. Is it a meas of looking for patronage to resume flamboyant lifestyle? Maybe, in fact, yesss!
