The Akwa Ibom governor, Udom Emmanuel, has dissolved the State Executive Council.
A statement issued on Saturday evening by the Secretary to the State Government, Etekamba Umoren, said the commissioners were to hand over to the permanent secretaries in their ministries.
No reason was given for the decision.
The statement said, “The Governor expresses his deep and profound appreciation for the contributions of the EXCO members to the development of the state, and wishes them success in their future endeavours.”
Most of the sacked commissioners were inherited from the government of former Governor Godswill Akpabio

ReplyDeleteHmmmmm Nawa oooo na so so sack person dey hear for this country..missylynn
ReplyDeleteUdom go and renovate schools in ur state
ReplyDeleteHe shouldn't adopt Ayade's style in bringing in the new commissioners though. Wish him the best
ReplyDeleteHe should come and appoint me biko
ReplyDeleteBut Gov Udom Emmanuel hasn't done anything in Akwa Ibom state now, it's over a year in office nothing new. I feel compelled to say this..
ReplyDeleteHe is constructing and commissioning already existing roads built by Akpabio.
Indigens of Akwa Ibom state in Abuja are not happy with his performance.
We need Industries, industrialisation in Akwaibom state and not road construction.
The roads distinguished Akpabio did for the state is enough.
Every now and then, We hear of his colleagues like Gov Wike on news all the time instituting new projects, we hardly see Akwaibom state on news.
.
I don't know the kind of Advisers, Economic team he has on his deck, they can be a predisposing factor of failure.
My prayer to God is,
God should pls give us a governor like Sen Godswill Akpabio.
Amen!
It is well
