9ice Says "If I Marry One Woman, Many Women Will Go Unmarried"

Alapomeji Record boss 9ice, has revealed his plans to marry more than one wife as a favour to women, and father 20 kids.

The 'Gongo Aso' crooner is not mincing words concerning his life long dreams and they include 20 kids and more than one wife.

The singer who was a guest on Ebonylife TV's Moment Girls Talk, showed very strong support for polygamy while revealing his own polygamous dreams.
As if in defence of his stand, 9ice said that he would be doing women a favour by marrying more than one wife.

Even more convincing is the fact that he wants 20 kids which one woman would be hard pressed to provide.

He said:
"If I stay married to just one woman, do you know how many women will end up without any husband,"he said
The Gongo Aso crooner adds,"I want 20 kids. I have just four now. I have 16 to go,"he said.

9ice who was previously married to spoken word poet,Toni Payne, and has four kids from three different women, is well on the way to achieving his dream.

His first son, Zion, was born while he was married to his ex-wife,Toni Payne in 2008. Asides that, he had a set of twin girls with his ex-girlfriend,Victoria ‘Vicky” Godis.
He is currently dating Olasunkanmi Ajala and shares a daughter,Michelle Abolanle Akande, with her.

  24. I totally disagree with you here oga 9ice. I am a firm beleiver of the scriptures and prophecies therein. These are end times. We are very close to when we are told that seven women would approach one man and ask just to be married by him and they will, by themselves, fend for themselves and the children they will bear for him. The cache here is to allow them be his wives and escape the 'perceived'shame and loneliness of perpetual singlehood with the pledge of the man not worrying about how to feed them and their children as that would be theirs to do. This is without disrespect to women. It's not we men that made it so, we were born to find it so. Another thing is that the woman to be married first has escaped the burden of being among the seven talked about here.

Today, where we are is the time of women actively and openly soliciting, enticing and even begging men to marry them.

So Mr 9nice, don't use that as an excuse. Just may one and the others would be just fine.

  41. Dauntless nonsense, let me tell you something I am Igbo married to a Yoruba man and my husband takes care of me 100 percent as a housewife. He caters for both our family and our extended family. You cannot just generalise. Tonto Dikes husband who is Yoruba is he not taking care of his wife? Dakore Akande etc all d igbos actresses married to Yoruba are enjoying their marriage.
I know a lot of irresponsible Igbo men, my dad for example who did nothing for his children. He returned to d village in d East, with excuse of going back home. Went on married another woman and left us in Lagos. My mum trained us alone and she never divorced him bcos they were married in Catholic Church. She was more or less a single mum.
So many men are irresponsible even in this U.S. I live. You should come see so many blacks kids fatherless in this country.
I have met good Yoruba men, I have met bad ones. I have also met useless Igbo men.
But for you to say all Yoruba men don't take care of their kids is lies from the pit of hell. Stop being tribalistic, that is the problem with so many Igbo men. Even my dad rejected my husband. I just laughed and asked if he contributed in my upbringing. I did my wedding without my dad present, and I don't miss one thing about him. Because he is irresponsible.
