I was going through the Scriptures this morning and I found this in Ezekiel 18:21-22
God Himself said.....
"But if wicked people turn away from their sins and begin to obey My decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. ALL their past sins will be FORGOTTEN, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done."
Please note the words 'all' and 'forgotten'.
Bottomline is that God does not judge you by your past. He looks at your now. Have you genuinely repented and turned to Jesus? Then worry not. Jesus has paid the price of your all sins in full! God has forgotten you ever did those things.
That is what it means when the Bible said Jesus died for you. The punishment that ought to fall on you fell on Him. That is what is called GRACE.
You don't deserve it but He did it anyway. Grace speaks for everyone who turns to Jesus. Old things are passed away and the new has come.
So for that lady who was worried if her past will catch up with her, keep walking in His grace and love, do not compromise your Christian life, God will handle every situation 'cause you are covered by His grace.
Please read the full text in Ezekiel 18. You will see how merciful God is. It behoves Him to see a wicked person die. All He wants is for men to turn from their sins and live (Eze 18:23).
GRACE SPEAKS!
