      James, this days it's tough for the young and fresh ones. There are other qualities guys desire. Didn't you see on the male SnM how guys stated they want working class? So fresh young girls are mostly used for flings. That's why we work on building careers before thinking of settling down.

    amen oo may God pick up her call and that of others soon. i feel really bad for her sometimes. i pray nobody ever has to go through what happend to her. imagine finding out ur husband fathered another child outside in the most humiliating way. gosh!

    i knw she must have seen the signs so many times before dey got married but its never good to judge. because when u love someone whole-heartedly its sometimes difficult to leave. Relationship is always practical not theory. May God help us all still trying to find our feet in this love thing.

    Stella please do a new column on the blog where we can send in stories of how we ignored certain signs before marriage or relationships thinking dat our partners wuld change. it will help a lot.xx

A man will never end up with a woman who doesn't fit into what he wants as a wife so women please let us use our brains and forget societal pressure.

      A lot of guys also love wholeheartedly and ignore the red flags during courtship and end up with the wrong spouse. The difference is, ladies are more "outspoken" when their relationships or marriages are going through turbulence. Guys, on the other hand, bottle up their feelings and clam up. Only a handful will cry out, the rest may discuss it with friends or drown their sorrows in liquor or some other "stimulants"

      Another factor is, guys can easily find an outlet to release whatever negative emotions are overwhelming them in the arms of other women but the society frowns at women, especially married women, who seek succour in the arms of their lovers. Since most women can't cheat openly or easily, for that matter, what's left is to vent by crying out to whomever is available to listen.

      As human beings, we are wired to crave love and attention but generally, women tend to be in touch with their emotions and are more expressive. That's why it may appear that women are more desperate for love. Of course, the societal values and pressure on women add to the desperation just to have a man of their own regardless of the fact that he is totally wrong for them.‎

      Men also end up marrying women who don't fit into what they want as a wife. They just handle it differently. That's why some men, while planning to get married, also plan on maintaining relationships with other women because they know the soon to-be wife isn't really who they want but they choose to "wife her" for reasons best known to them.
