You need to help yourself because you seem to have too much time on your hands for a serious minded person.

    3. Things have really changed. Before now, every month I stock the house with foodstuff and 'ipapanu' for my kids. Now, I make sure food is the only stuff I buy and for the ipapanu, when there's xtra, they largesse, if not na to show 'understanding'. School fees increased and cost of transportation sky rocketed.

  4. The exchange rate is so bad. When we travelled last xmas, had to change a pound for 390 and I was complaining bitterly,as of yesterday, a pound was over 570... na to sit down for abuja this year... it's so disheartening. .we need a miracle .
Meanwhile everything in the market is now so expensive . From butter to flour to eggs. Sugar is even worse. May God grant buhari and all Nigerians the grace to get our economy back on track .

I am now someone that waits for my monthly money. My savings got spent fast due to rise in standard of living, my salary slashed at different times, the rate of people coming to me for help is high and of course my darling baby refuses Ogi/pap and baby milk is now so expensive I shiver!

  48. This change affected me both positively and negatively.
Let me talk of the positive aspects before the negative.

For awhile now I have been wanting to dedicate more time to God but work keeps stopping me. Finally this year I took the first step to doing that. I found Christ and since then he's been my strength. I also wanted to develop my passion or should I even call it hobbies which are cooking and teaching (life coach). This buhari times gave me the opportunity to do more of the two. I started going round preaching and talking more. Sometimes when I organize meetings at home, I cook and my guests always loved my cooking. I'm beginning to consider opening a restaurant...

Negatively, exchange rate affected some parents that I was working on their kids admission. Most of them said till things change. People even fly less now.

Most builders are letting their engineers do the finishing of their houses now. They tell you that they are just managing to finish the building. Nobody is buying bullet proof doors. They prefer China door. For almost one year, I have not sold a single bullet proof door or window. The last tiles we shipped from Spain is still there because the prices tripled due to exchange rate. Now importation of doors and furnitures are considered contrabands. The exchange rate killed businesses and is still killing.

The main cause of this whole problem is that our president is not an intelligent man. He's old and has nothing upstairs except for being a former military head of states.
Obasanjo met worst. But he brought in experts like our very own okonjo. She's intelligent and exposed. She gave her best and the country "flourished" to an extent.
He had so many young gurus that he was paying for consultation. He did not place them on salaries. He gets their services when he needs them to brainstorm on a policy that is about to be imposed. He uses them to scrutinize all policies and if they said it won't sail baba will tell Okonjo to forget about it. She was monitored and her excesses curtailed.

Buhari's problem is that he is stingy, bitter and very myopic. Common sense is lacking where buhari is. What you cannot do, get capable hands to do it for you. Get genius, pay them secretly and let them tell you how it is done. He surrounded himself with bitter people and saddists like him. Like I always tell people; buhari is not my candidate and I don't even have voters card. When I see a man that will move Nigeria forward I will go and get voters card. I don't like Jonathan and not a fan of ApC but just a believer of a better Nigeria. I still have faith that Nigeria will get better under this administration because if it becomes better we will all enjoy the fattening.
God bless the federal republic of Nigria.

  60. Hmmm...infact Stella, I don tire. I've been off job for almost 3 years now and was hoping to secure one this year but for where. Hubby works with a financial institution so atleast we can feed but it hasn't been easy.

We were looking forward to his promotion this year so to ease things but that never happened (cos of economic situation). Right now, we are stuck where we are with a baby on the way and 2 beautiful kids to cater for. The thought of 2017 scares me so much cos I don't how we're gonna pull through if things don't change(me getting a job or another stream of income opening up for us). Things have really changed as our feeding has dropped and at a point,  I was considering moving school for my kids. God help us though as I still believe he's more than able.

I had put my property on sale but the offer is way too low. My younger brother has not been paid for over 7 months. They lost their baby because they dint go for Antenatal and could not afford good hospital. Let us all pray to vote out this clueless man. I still believe this problem can be solved if this man gives way for others to stir the affairs of this nation. According to economic experts, it might get worse if we continue this way. one Dollar now is almost N500 Naira. I burry my head now in the office because I voted for this government. Now my good organisation is broke due to high exchange rate. Salaries of Aug and Sept are yet to be paid. God help us!!! I also thank you Lord that I am still alive.
