There is a riot brewing between the Hausa settlers and Fulani herdsmen in the abattoir area of Lagos state...
Both sides are brandishing weapons and have been throwing rocks at each other all morning....
Security operatives arrived and shot bullets into the air BUT THEY ARE STILL THERE exchanging words and brandishing weapons.
The area is the railway line around the fagba area, leading towards the abattoir in the Oko-Oba area.
Please whoever can reach the governor should treat this as urgent before a bloody war breaks out!
Insiders say that a drunken Fulani headsman stabbed a hausa man last night....
Thats all i know for now......Who lives around this area and can give us update?
I live round there and worked in that particular area for five years...stella naso dem dey fight and e dey bloody even police can't wde in until they satisfy one another with blood shed
ReplyDeleteThe only thing to be done now is that school will close down till its all over

My grandma favourite saying " gambari pa fulani ko lejo ninu"(no case when hausa man killed a fulani peer)
DeleteI live around too! I live in Awoliyi Abimbola Estate and it's where Mide Martins live too. Maple wood Estate is also around there. Very lovely estates and billionaires live in there too. This area is just where Hausas keep their cattles and stuff!
DeleteHausa and fulanis don't like each other. The only come together when it's time to fight westerners/Christians.
Delete@Yahooboy Alamutu estate ,Kudirat Abiola estate,Ajoke estate etc

ReplyDeleteSee gobe ooo...We do need God's intervention in this country
ReplyDeleteLOL. Throwing rocks.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have believed that part if I hadn't witnessed two hausas fighting and hitting each other with big stones.
They have spears, bows and arrows, daggers, swords and every other evil looking weapon you can think of, In that same abbatoir.
Na so them dey do.
PEACE IS ALL WE NEED.
ReplyDeletePEACE IS ALL WE NEED.#onenation#
ReplyDeleteThey have started their wahala.
ReplyDeleteReally can't these people be booted out of Lagos?
That's how sometime ago, a man accidentally hit one of them who's an Okada rider.
See the way they beat him up but he managed to escape, thank God.
They torched his car and when the police tried to wade in, they were very violent, brandishing daggers left, right and centre; causing a ruckus and blocking the road.
These people have absolutely no regard for human life.
What a shame!
I tot they were brothers and worship same way. Make you settle well.
ReplyDeleteIt's not funny but that ''they have been throwing rocks at each other'' part is cracking me up so bad.
ReplyDeleteIf they don't draw blood, they wont disperse.
That area has always been a spit for bloo shed. They always had to close my alma matter, Providence nursery and primary when they started. That was as much as 20 years back. Till today, it's still a danger spot. It's high time problems are tackled from its root. Not peace today, and the cycle continues tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteSo you went to providence?
DeleteNice
😘
Ahhh,God have mercy on time
ReplyDeleteThey don't value life na.
ReplyDeleteI don tire for this hausa and fulani matter. Abeg, Bubu shld do something.
ReplyDeleteWhen will people begin to understand that violence doesn't solve any problem. Not trying to sound tribalistic, but I think these part of Nigeria love violence a lot. If you want to continue fighting, pls go back to your respective states and stop giving the governor unnecessary headaches.
ReplyDeleteDirty stinking place!
ReplyDeleteThat place up there is where those abokis sleep at night
DeleteThere are many estates around fagba area and they dare not come there with their yeye violence

Some people and their low mentality 😩
Annon 14:19 please wake up from ur childhood Ajegunles nightmare.. Life is not rough for us all o. A day out @ faagba oko-oba axis will cure you from your ignorance. Lagos is bigger than hiding behind Nokia to type rubbish. Receive sense pls! Eyin temi e jowo e yaafi annon alaileko yi.
DeleteThey don't value life. Let them continue killing themselves that's what their religion teaches them
