Continue to blame oooo presidency. Pmb campaigned based on the ills at the time, he promised change (whether positive or negative nigerians didnt ask), now people voted and all you do is blame the past. If you cant resolve the issues you promised to resolve then quit. The time to hold people accountable to their campaign promise is now. Nigeria hasnt it thos bad. Businesses are closing daily, exchange rate is on the rise. People are regretting voting this govt cos they only blame the past administration.
Bunch of airheads on this blog. Led by Sisi Eko or is it Okomaiko, Jaymoore, FRESH, Anonymous J, Don Mayor, The General housewife, Iphie dearie. Stupid things, you won't hear their noise on some posts anymore, they are ashamed
I am not surprised the way things turned out. I expected it. How do you expect an illiterate dull old man that has never run any form of business since he left office in 1984 to perform wonders for the country? U cannot cultivate cassava and harvest yam.
Everybody in Nigeria is affected in one way or the other including Dangote and all the billionaires in Nigeria... The only business that is moving in Nigeria now are people in my line of business and food vendors!... I pity my country people...
Why is it that its when he becam president that the hardship started. I didnt experience any hardship in the last administration. I even started a business then.i had to close down last month cos of no patronage. Pardon my ignorance. They said the past administration was so corrupt, but there was no hunger in the land then..why is it that its when they're trying to recover money that there's so much hunger in the land? Bad policies up and down. Basic things in life~food, clothing, shelter is now a luxury most Nigerians can't afford.
No joke! Gej was bad as they ve always said, but the economy wasn't bad for us,infact we gain d title of the fastest growing economy in Africa in his time. Presently It's getting worst daily& we re all folding our hands to watch. This position is too much for this old man to handle,he shud resign asap, he isn't smart& so re his followers. Who are rilly Buhari's advisers? Seriously!
The truth and the fact still says it all, where is all the money in Nigeria? Buhari does not need to start chasing the politicians that stole our money, just force them to invest all these money in Nigeria to create more jobs, does buhari think all the money will be refunded or person wey carry 20naira go drop the 20naira , if he see 5naira collect na to dey thank God
Lord...pls HV mercy on us and remove dis man..people are suffering ooh.federal govt workers are suffering especially d ones with families... No money to pay school fees not to talk of feeding..
Yes o! It happened to me live... I now earn half of what I was earning, Its so so terrible stella! But the truth is I can't leave now till I get another one. May God help us
Stella it is very serious o People like me are just owing foodstuff sellers upandan. Sallah is coming, I can't even sight a single goat tied down in my neighbourhood for Ileya festival. Even if one decides to go back to the village, where is money for transport? Nothing tangible to sell in the house and enter road with four kids. What about money to feed with till things stabilize in the village?
How can we create a new nation from Nigeria. God pls forgive and help us. Until we call.on God, things won't get better. If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray...
Lol... all this newspapers with lies. which city dwellers returned to villages. Lol. Punch can lie for africa. We all knew we were going to pass this stage of recession ever since the crude oil dropped. Our only source of income in nigeria. Smh
Yoruba with their hatred for Jonatnan. Buhari killed Nigeria with bad economic policies. In his bid to fight corruption , he blocked access to forex, increased levies, and killed businesses. I agree that our forex reserve was depleted, how about the recovered loot. Oil subsidy money, etc.. Bad economic policies killed Nigeria not Jonathan. This same situation was what happened when he ruled in the eighties. He is vindictive, chasing his enemies at the expense of our development coupled with his bad luck of crash in oil prices.
Ok hand over to Jonathan then and see what happens. Bunch of illiterates and novices ruling Nigeria. Put Abachas loot in our foreign reserve and stop chasing enemies. Open access to forex. Corruption fighter, the only reason people come to Nigeria to do business is because they can cut corners, if not who wants to come to a country with no road, light, and water.
Look at the heavy fine heaped on mtn, if they lay off workers now, will you blame them. Incompetent and wicked leader.
Nigerians should do what Brazil did. If Buhari's regime is making people commit suicide. He should be impeached! He's clueless, keeps talking about fighting corruption. Meanwhile people are not even seeing money to steal sef. No food,no jobs! He should be impeached!!!
Sometimes I wish these igbo people can separate and make clueless Jonathan their president. But of course the Niger delta won't allow the cunning thieves touch their oil and calabar people have a mind of their own now
@anon 15.37 you are a bitter soul. To discriminate against a people. Tell me what have you created? God created all tribes so news flash, hate the Igbos all you want- it don't change a thing! We are talking current economic situation you are talking crap! Pls swerve you bloody RACIST!
Even the nonsense access bank that did salary increase now wants to collect it back by giving all their ETs compulsory car loan of 5million naira for 5years to buy Kia Rio after forcing us to sign a two year employment bond. If you say you don't want, na sack letter. Stella please help us call them out!!! Save us!
I keep wondering. Is it that Nigeria doesnt have one intelligent young person who has ideas that can lead the country? Im sure we have. But the grandfathers and greatgrandfathers are still holding onto power and relevance and are not ready to listen. The young people who have good ideas do not have the money and so remain silent.
