    3. Buhari, go hire okonjo iwuala. This lady is a dullard . Your economic policies can only continue to drown the economy. You have removed oil subsidy, increased taxes, tariffs, recovered loots, yet we are still worse off. Incompetent bunch.

  3. lol, she sounds clueless, we must invest in our economy.. excuse you , we should have invested in our economy already by now..

  4. "We must invest in capital project and diversify our economy" Andd who must do these? Is it not the govt? A govt with no roadmap to where we are going. A govt with no economic team nor policies? So how do we achieve all these when our priority as a govt is misplaced and we keep nose diving? Remember, the best way to answer insult is by result. Until we started seeing result that translate to 'food' on d table in the common man's home, then the govt ain't working yet.

    1. Why must insult always come from Igbos.
      Esp christians.
      Why??
Why must hate overwhelm your sense of judgment.
Oil prices dived to one third the previous price.Niger delta militants have bombed close to half of our pipelines, that leaves us with one sixth our normal earnings.
And people are calling okonjo iweala here to come and spoil her name and previous work.

You think okonjo iweala who has worked with six times this woman's earnings can do anything about this economy.
Please its only God that can bounce us back.
She was repeatedly the best state Finance minister in Nigeria before she received federal nomination
Stop spewing hate like James and Linda.

  11. We must be disciplined in our expenditure... Madam, no matter how disciplined we are in this buhari really, we must EAT! What expenditure are you talking about when basic food is no longer affordable for the masses? If you're having a hard time running the economy please madam resign! Let those who know the nitty gritty take over. Same goes for your oga at the top. The hardship is getting too much.

  13. Una see wetin Buhari & quota system has done to Nigeria? That's how this clueless woman will lead a population of 170 million into extinction because APC won't swallow their pride and consult Okonjo-Iweala. This isn't about party lines, this is about Nigeria and Nigerians dying because of inexperienced leaders. Anyway dem no dey teach recession for military school so I don't expect PMB to have the slightest idea of what has befallen Nigeria but Oga VP should at least advice him. Oops! I forgot PMB is hard of hearing, so good luck advising him

    3. Most Nigerians suffer short term memory Loss syndrome, if not how will someone say okonjo refused to save. Is it not these governors that threatened taking her to court for wanting to save part of the money in excess crude account. The woman foresaw this and wanted to create a sovereign wealth Fund (SWF) but the governors headed by Amaech insisted that nobody should tell them what to do with their money and she backed out. The way I am looking at things, we are going to enter depression.

  14. The reason why she's receiving lots of bashing is simply because she is being transparent and sincere to us with the situation.
If we must know, the economic recession didn't just start with the new administration, it's been lingering before they came in.. but the previous administration cajoled us with sweet lies and fake statistical figures that made us believe all was well and healthy with the economy.
We shouldn't just ask for her throat because the economy has nose dived... We will come up again

    2. Of course the recession didn't start under this administrations watch but when oil prices are falling & PMB is busy chasing who "stole" N1 & N500, what do you expect? In case y'all forgot, you spend your way out of a recession, you don't "save" your way of one. Worst case, start taxing large deposits sitting idle in the bank, force people to spend & let the funds flow

    3. The only way you know recession is here is how the economy is faring. Just because some people still don't want to see anything wrong with this economy, they blame GEJ. Nigeria will always be a target for recession because of our Mono-economy but previous government found a way around this (petrol dollar helped but the main reason). If investors believe in your economy they will bring in money but when policy somersault is the order of the day, No business man will invest. That is the reason for the recession not jonathan.

  19. The problem in Nigeria is that nobody wants to move forward, they rather continue in their blame game instead of proffering solutions, the APC wanting The mantle of leadership because they felt that the PDP was running The country aground, but now that the mantle has been placed on them (APC),all they do is complain and go back in history, truth be told, if these is how they are going to continue governing, then we should expect more worst scenario's.

  20. When the President is busy reading only the cartoon section in the dailies, what do you expect?
I pity this country. This woman should seek advice from those that know coa its obvious she doesnt have any plan or she is just plain dumb.
