Mark Zuckerberg returns to Nigeria to meet President Buhari

Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, met with President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa on Friday afternoon.

Mr. Zuckerberg, 32, returned to the country to participate in the Aso Villa Demo Day, an event organised by the Buhari administration for Nigerians to showcase their ideas for possible investment support from the government.

Mr. Zuckerberg had been in Nigeria since Tuesday. He later traveled to Kenya where he met with that country’s ICT minister.

Some Nigerians thought he had left without meeting Nigerian government officials.

State House social media handles have not released detailed information about the meeting.
But a Twitter post by Bashir Ahmad, social media aide to Mr. Buhari, said Vice Osinbajo teased Mr. Zuckerberg during a closed-door meeting with the president, on why he was not wearing his signature T-shirt.
“Out of respect for the formality of meeting a president,” he reportedly answered.

POlitics, politics and politics smelling every where. The man had gone and some people most have called him back to meet with government for politics sake. When he was in lagos did he ever ask to see government officials? The man only came to see God knows what? But trust our government, them done rush to play politics with it. Did the boy see Kenya president when he was in Kenya? Did he see the president of Italy when he was in Italy? I tire for this
My country. We don't realy know what to do, I swear. The boy go just tire

    1. Anonymous 07.38, call him back as per what? since you feel its politics, so you think Government was not aware he was coming to Nigeria right?
Do you think Government was not aware of his visit and approved his visa?
With what visa did he come into the Country? Do you think Nigeria is visa free for Americans?
Why do most of you see everything as politics or tribal?
He had a date to visit Lagos, had another to visit Kenya before returning back to Nigeria to complete his trip.
Current Government was aware of his visit from his Visa issuance, date of arrival and other schedules being a high profile person.
If he did not meet with those countries leaders do you know their schedule? Italian president should be busy helping his citizens with earthquake relief not meeting Mark even if it's important they can still meet with him anywhere. If Mark did not visit Abuja same you will complain now he visited same you complaining.
Make una dey apply common sense sometimes with una comments.

Abeg who be this small pikin called jay no sense, I said PG 18 so if ur not matured don't read my comment, you won't make sense out of it. So any time you travel to a country the government of that country know your coming and the date your coming abi? Cos Nigerian government got his ticket for him? Why dint our government send SUV to go pick him up from the airport? As una know his date of arrival.grab sense, he did not say he was coming on an official trip or did he tell you so? Since na you draw out his schedule.if you get sense from his dressing in lagos you would know why he came and that of with my president you will know why he was there. Oyinbo no get time for material stuff they dress for the occasion , what he wears won't change his bank account ok, all those praising his simplicity are just talking but yet they do worst. Me I get plenty money but I remain simple. Cos what I have I have and nothing anybody can do about it but God.

    3. Come back and read your response because seriously speaking you made no sense at all. We have a lot of adults in kids body here and there is no doubt you are one of them.

"So any time you travel to a country the government of that country know your coming and the date your coming abi? Cos Nigerian government got his ticket for him? Why dint our government send SUV to go pick him up from the airport?"

Just hear yourself? Shaking My Head for You. You don't know the reason of his trip to Nigeria according to your comment but you are fast to tag it politics. Sending SUV to the airport is your problem then America Embassy can provide such to him.
Mark came into the country as a private person, under his private capacity, he didn't need noise reason his trip was simple. If he wanted official visit as an investor am sure he will come here with his entourage and America delegates.
Read and comprehend next time because all i read is just window dressing comment by an over grown adult.
You can't even answer questions i raised under your comment. You get plenty money, like seriously? Who ask you? No need ranting with you.
      Goodbye
