ReplyDeleteThis reminded me of my classmate in college. On visiting days, while others were eating their food with chicken or beef, Onyi and her sister always ate theirs with roasted or fried bats. I almost threw up the first day I saw them tearing the wings off the creatures with their teeth. Maynnneee!!
Or is it the first day I saw someone eating termites. And as if it was not enough, she was eating them live. Plucked off their wings, pressed out heaven knows what from them, and plonked into her mouth.
Then in uni, you'll see people with basins of water during the first rains running after termites. And later, they'll fry the insects and enjoy their snack. I heard that it's nutritious. Thanks, I'll pass.
These ones here; very troubling. I even saw scorpions. Eeckk!

On our way back to ph airport my bayelsa-rivers colleagues stopped to buy that thing oh! Na so them arrange am for stick like Asian woman's picture. And they were munching it.
