    2. Very dumb, a classmate of mine did that in our 300 level, what saved him was the fact that he didn't send a formal letter to the DVC. This was a 3.9 law student oh! Now we are graduating and he is back to continue from 300 level. Plain foolishness, Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross, why not accept the forgiveness and start on a clean slate? I just pray he doesn't regret his action in a few years time.
Meanwhile, I thought we got admission through jamb?

    3. I believe that any sin committed in ignorance would not be used against us. The bibke says: In the days if ignorance, God overlooks. If at the time he Carried out the malpractice he felt he was being 'sharp' (as many nigerian students) and he has realised his folly, why not cry to God for forgiveness and move on? He died for our sins and is every willing to forgive. But who am I? Maybe God has greater plans for him

  3. Good move.

But I have a question. Please if he found out that he was a product of adultery. Would he commit suicide and ask God to come to the world again. Since adultery is also a sin.

I am a little but confused

    1. so long as he came to the world legally,it's not a sin oga

    2. ...a product of adultery not that he committed adultery. That will be his parents' headache not his.

    3. He didn't commit adultery. So he's not liable.

So you didn't know your jamb was written in special center since abi?

    5. Anonymous 18:11 thank you oh! Retake the waec and take the result to your department and explain this thing youve written. Abeg let's learn to use wisdom. They will pardon you for the effort and switch results.

    6. Chikito I can see through that you have very low moral values.Probably you entered the university through same channel of exam malpractices. Do you know he definitely denied somebody with genuine qualification a spot which must have slowed or derailed that person's progress. The restitution he is making is quite correct and I pray God forgives him absolutely(we are all sinners)
Btw,are you posting from Oriental,4points or Intercontinental Hotel at this early hours, also which of your senior mentors are you warming the bed with?

Some of you are just so angry at Buharinomics that you don't even believe how miserable your lives are cos some of us have beautiful lives. Don't worry. I'd share another mind blowing testimony very soon. That one will make you go and open legs and anus for all the man from Nigeria to Dubai and you will still die wretched 😂😂

  11. Such courage! People like me would have just said God forgive me for my past sins and believe it's all gone and forgotten but restitution is also a bible phenomenon where u steal and return it and not just say God forgive me when u can make that extra step and return it back to the owner. God help us all. I salute his courage no be small

    3. Lmao! Don't mind our universities. You'll write a letter that's supposed to be treated before the next session. They'll tell you that it's going to pass through every office in the uni for signing. Which would take a whole session, if not more.

Yeah, it's very wrong of whomever made this public. Not fair at all.

Who goes by the books 100percent in naija. When u collect drivers license why not refuse it, that until you go behind d wheels and someone scores ur driving skills or you sit and write the theoretical test also.
Go to passport office you don't know anyone. Sit there for 5hrs and not tip anyone.
When he gets job at CBN through an uncle, let him refuse it also........... When he stays home for 5yrs and hunger bite am, no one will teach him.

It's a commendable thing, but this is Nigeria where things are built not to work, and we have no choice but to help ourselves, if govt can't help us.

  34. Not everyone has the grace to be able to do this.

    Restitution in its truest form.

Spirituality aside, this would have come to hunt him later on.

Imagine he gets a job after graduation, and some years down the line, it's discovered that his O'Levels are forged. That would have been the end. And he'll not have gotten any other job in the corporate world.
Of course, then, he wouldn't likely be in the frame of mind to go back and retake his O'Levels. And also start uni afresh. Might be married by then sef. Double wahala.

I saw his picture. He's still young. He can write the WAEC exams next year, get admission immediately after, and in about five years from now, he'll be done.

Clean slate. No fear of being found out. He'll still catch up with his mates.

    Good one. Good bless him!

People might see it as foolishness, but better to be at peace with God, than to be accepted by the world.

"If any man be in Christ,he is a new creature, old things are passed away, behold all things are become new".... I wonder how people read and understand the Bible though!Wisdom is really profitable to direct! To each his own,I wish him luck....

  36. So you mean if you cheated all through your educational background from waec to jamb till you graduate and got employed, then later married and have children, you will divorce your wife because of restitution and return everything you have acquired all your life including your wife and kill your children as well? Then what happened to Bible verse John 8:11 (Go and sin no more)..The most important thing is to confess our sin and ask for forgiven and that is why God is a merciful God.

  40. He did the right and appropriate thing according to how the bible said it, which is restitution. I salute his sense of knowng God's word and adhering to it.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Good move, hands up for his courage

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hmmmm. I can't take a stand for or against him. As Christians, there is a difference between remorse, repentance and restitution. We know that true repentance does not always require restitution, but we should also bear in mind that restitution is prompted by personal conviction by the Holy Spirit. The reason I can't take a stand against him is because he used the word "conviction". I wasn't there with him so I don't know if he meant guilt or he meant real conviction by the Holy Spirit.

    ReplyDelete
  43. He is one of a kind and such courage is scarce in a country like ours. He is indeed worthy of praise, because he truly understands that a lie my last for a thousand years but only then he start living in truth that he begins to really live. In other paths of the world, the school will not let such a man go because that is the purpose of education that we begin to really live life as it should be. His confession and rejection of his past and fake life truly makes an educated person and worthy of even a degree. This gentleman will have doors open to him far more easier than when he parades himself with a fake result. You just watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Try building on a faulty foundation... ignore the warnings and think you will survive the day of testing. Many of the bad things we are going through today as a people is because we think we can get out away with the past instead of retracing our steps and relay the foundation for a progressing foundation. If the foundation is of lies, you can cover it with truth. A foundation of sand cannot hold a building of concrete. This gentleman's action may seem radical and drastic, the same way his progress after this will be radical and drastic. He will now be truly free and own the legacy he builds for his generation to come. Honesty will remain the best policy. A good name will always be better than riches and a good foundation will remain the bedrock of a blessed heritage.
