Judging by the chronicles that show up here on a daily basis, can we come to an understanding that most Nigerian women are simply tolerating their husbands infidelity? Team No Snoop squad is increasing everyday. The same way you practice team no snoop is the same way co wives stay out of each other's way.
This is a woman who understands her husband and has gotten gotten closure from it. She wants to investigate the background of the co wife herself. Could be for financial security or just to be sure it is not one town ho. I have a well known and connected aunt who got high paying federal jobs for 2 brothers of her co wife. Also, not all Muslim men like polygamy. I have a friend who confided in me that she told her husband to marry a new wife too. Her husband still never gree. The way he loves my friend, some people have said she even jazzed him!
Peronally, polygamy is one of the first things I discuss with my man! I don't want. As a Nigerian, living in Nigeria, it is difficult. Its not about "jealousy". Having experienced it firsthand, I can't go through it again. But there are women who don't see it as a big deal and we should all respect their decisions.
