Nothing annoyed me more in this game than the easy opportunities they missed because one mugu or the other refused to pass the damn ball. Plus Mike should have taken that free kick instead of the mumu that sent the ball flying to his village so he can pick it up later....... mscheew. I'm never watching any Nigeria match again. This is what happens when the fail to put real talent there but keep using connections. Annoying people 😠😠ðŸ˜

Those guys tried stellar. Do you know that as at day before yesterday, two of the players were sent back to Nigeria citing insufficient funds. What the hell is dalung doing in rio? ReplyDeleteDis d worse game naija played in d tournament. It was as if d players were spelled from their villages. No one was willing to attack, passes poor, unfruitful possession. Infact, d game was very slow and dull@ d nigerian end. My nit was messed up. Really wished they won d game. This wat happens where there is no support and unity.

ReplyDeleteOne silly thing i notice about the Nigeria team and the coaching crew is once they win one or two matches they start boasting! If you noticed, after our win against Denmark, pride took over. Mikel obi was heard saying they will win the gold medal for Siasia as birthday gift. Yes he was being optimistic but they should have remain focused knowing they are meeting a great footballing nation like Germany! It was quite apparent that they were not adequately prepares for that match. Pride and overconfidence took over and they were brutally punished by the Germans. Moral lesson: Never look down on any team especially a team like the almighty Germans.
