    4. Elixir Ray, misleading who? A father spoke to his children and outsiders who only eavesdroped went about complaining about something that doesn't concern them in any way. He has said it, his message is not for everyone, so please don't be misled. Better still, ignore the message so you won't be misled.

    1. Nigerians are funny... there are cultures and religions that preach that family can kill their own blood if they go wrong; some others encourage men to practice a most unstable marriage practice, polygamy. And people are here criticising a message specifically for a special set of people

  5. How can a "man of God's" message preached in the church and broadcast to the world not be for everybody? Isn't he preaching from the bible 'the word of God' - from God to all mankind?

Does he mean that Jesus isn't a God to all mankind (as most Christians believe) or that Jesus wasn't sent by God as a prophet to all mankind and that the bible and it's message isn't for all Mankind but to a certain pple - Jews (pple of the book)? Interesting!

    4. Every prophet has his crowd. We all serve same God but different mandates are given to different prophets. That's why different churches come with different doctrines and rather than complain about churches, choose the one with whom your spirit finds peace and stay there.
Stop talking trash about men of God oh. Some of you won't learn. When you drop dead, then you'll know.

    5. Eesah quit acting dumb. I guess terrorists posting videos of beheadings and asking people to kill others are for everyone abi? You lot always look for what to criticize in men of God. He was addressing his ministers and congregation. And what he said is the truth. A minister or a good christian needs to marry a prayerful partner otherwise we would be reading your chronicles 1 year after your marriage. Ever heard family that prays together...., I guess you didn't also hear when said some of the people he counselled in the past on the same topic who ignored his message, came back regretting it? He knows better because he counsels thousands of people yearly. Move on and let the man of God be.

  7. Thank you sir. Am really amazed at the uproar over his comments on marriage. While will someone going into marriage not know how to cook? What will you and your hubby be Eating? What will u offer visitors or family members when they come visit or stay for a while, when you have kids, what will they be Eating? Even if a man can cook, so u expect him to enter kitchen and cook for the family Everyday? I still don't get it. It's not as if the man cannot help out once in a while but the role of a man is not in the kitchen. It's just like men saying the women should be giving them monthly allowance and paying children's school fees. A woman may help out her hubby financially when the need arises and vice versa. Let's not get things twisted, modernity or not, let's everyone know their role and play it. And of course help each other when necessary. A woman cannot predict who she will marry, so if u don't know how to cook, learn. If u end up with a rich man and you can afford to hire someone to cook for your family, fine. If not, and you end up marrying a regular guy, then u have no problem. Women please don't let people deceive you that you should not cook for your husband, that is a lie from the pit of hell. I work and have my own business, and can afford to hire ten cooks if I want, but I have been cooking for ten years. Hubby helps out sometimes, and sometimes I get a good cook to cook for me when am too tire due to the pressure of work and managing a business at the same time. But the sole responsibility of cooking rests with ME. And by the way, those that know me know am a feminist, don't joke with the right of women, but on this matter, am on the side of truth. Women must cook and take care of the home, while men must pay bills. Enough said, let me go and cook my vegetable soup. Hubby just coughed out 400k for me and the kids to go and spend the holidays with my parents. He must chop his favourite soup when he comes back today, among other things. *Side eyes* in stella's voice.

    5. There's no doubt you need a brain reset.

Who created these 'roles' for man and woman? Where does it say in your Bible, that man must spend money and woman must cook?

All you village scrotum with your dead, suffocating mentality. If people want to cook let them, if they don't want to,it's none of your frigging business. That's why this country is dead, completely dead, even God is tired of Nigeria and has given up. People be reasoning proudly with all areas of their anus.

Nigerians will always put their mouth where it doesn't concern them, even when their lives are like scattered pieces of Lego.

  14. @Essah was here. Pray to God for wisdom. A man of God preaches to all but each message he preaches is not for all. There lies the big difference. If he is speaking about thieves and you're not one the message is not meant for you, if he is preaching about adultery same thing etc. learn to pick messages that relate to your life and stop twisting or insinuating what is not

    2. @munachi. U ever heard the saying, many are called few are chosen? If that still doesn't make sense to you, let me break it down to a useless persons level. When u go to school and subjects are taught , not everyone uses it eventually in their career. meaning that the message was well received but not important for everyone

  21. Interesting!

    Na wa oh!

God's will is the best for man in the choice of marriage partner.

Christians will do well to seek God's counsel for their lives. Man can fail and mislead.

    Come, Lord Jesus!

I like that mountain of fire pastor...though I don't attend that church.
Stop making these people feel as if they are god because God will judge you for doing that too. You don't know what they do in the midnight or even in their aircrafts.

  25. Counseling is the most difficult aspect of Christian service.

Human beings, generally, are carnal - sold under sin - and can mislead at any given time. But God, the Maker of Heaven, is infallible!

A childhood friend brought his fiance to my house for introduction. The girl was lured into a relationship because a well known "Prophet" in town told the girl that my friend was God's choice for her. This event happened before the guy-man came to my house with his girlfriend.

They got married in April and was divorced in September, same year.

Bottom line, Christians should learn to hear God for themselves.

All the people who ever counseled me, including pastors and reverends, were wrong! They gave me counsels according to the flesh, not the will of God.

Some years ago, I was out of the country to help a family who won a "green card lottery" settle down in the country...it so happened that I traveled before them...

Na so my pastor in that country came to me saying God don answer his prayer for a partner in ministry (we used to run the church years ago before I relocated to Naija). The pastor said I should prepared to marry a U.S Citizen for "green card". I am a happily married man, btw!

God did not give me a minute to contemplate the ungodly counsel, He simply said to me "I brought you here to rest, you are going back to Nigeria". That settled it for me!

Nigerians, nay Africans, are egoistical. We rarely admit mistakes and ask the public for forgiveness. Instead, Africans will stop at nothing to cover-up their mistakes.

Sadly, many Christians who will not entertain the thought of dying for Christ, their Lord and Savior, are ever ready to give excuses for their spiritual leaders. May God help una. Amen!

Lastly, I want to leave this discussion with a statement: Know God for thyself. Seek His face in prayers and learn to hear His voice in your heart! Don't suspend your faculties on the altar of prophecies!

    I am ENI.

  26. By the time another woman collect your husband from you because you lack cooking, that is when you will know the truth about what Daddy Adeboye is saying (Men don't joke with their stomach). By time the enemy attack your home, then you will know the importance of a praying wife.
That message wasn't for everybody, it is for his flocks, the inspiring to get married ones, the ones that have personal relationship with God, the ones God told him specifically to speak to.
The Devil does not attack those he has already caged, he goes after those that will cage him (the Christians, the fire brand bound for heaven), that is why majority don't understand his sayings.
Am talking from experience...A good marriage is not about money, property and looking good, (these are the things a lot of people are blinded with) a good home is when there are challenges, you go on your knees with your wife and pray. If there are challenges in your home and your wife refused to pray with you then you are finished!! Most successful men you see today is as a result of their wife.
