Living In Peace Is Not Possible?

Too many ISH going on around the world but lets focus on Nigeria..

Is it not possible to make away with all the problems in Our Country and live in peace?

A land where the Milk and Honey will flow again?
A land where the government begins to work for the people that voted them in?

Why must we live in pieces?WHY?
Is this still possible or just a day dream?

    2. I beg to differ. Nigeria is blessed and God loves Nigeria deeply., This is why we are still in one piece.

Do you know that the things that have been happening in the past one year is enough to send the country into gross anarchy? Esp the last election that we had peacefully? If not that God has been merciful to Nigerians, we for don hear am.

Apart from being corrupt etc, Nigerians are the most fearful of God. Nigerians pray a lot and that is what has been holding us together. Left to a few people the country would have been leveled. The part of the bible which I think has been speaking for us, is the promise of God which says, if there be one righteous person amongst the lot, for his sake He'll have mercy on the entire bunch. Literally. So this has been our saving grace.

I therefore do not agree that we are cursed. Rather, we are taking God's love and favour for granted. And May the spirit of familiarity not finish us though.

The old greedy thieves in Nigeria are one of our major problems
I just went a fresh start for Naija.

  7. The main problem is that conflicts in this country is usually suppressed not resolved.

Sharp-sharp remedy without getting to the root causes...it would never end because those suppressed causes will find their way up again and the cycle begins.

This is my academic field. There are lots of approaches to finding a lasting solution to VIOLENT conflicts in the country...

P.S I put "VIOLENT" in caps because conflict can never end, it is inherent, you can be in conflict with yourself (Chronicles is an example), but the energy in the conflict can be transformed into positive energy and therefore be a catalyst for development.

Violence doesn't solve any problem, it only brings forth more Problems - Martin Luther King (Jnr)

  8. Because each and every one of us is corrupt one way or the other. Until we start doing what is right and making use of our initiative, Nigeria will never be in peace. Let's start doing the right thing and not blaming the government for every thing.let's start by voting the real people cos I know some people who sold their vote because of 5000 naira and now they are complaining. It begins with you and me if not............

  9. Peace ke. Go and read your Bible then come and explain why there would be no peace in this world.

We just need to tolerate each other for peace to reign

  13. See I hear people saying that the old should rest for the younger generation. I try not to be controversial and keep my opinion to myself most of the times but sometimes I just cant. Now who are the younger generations that want to rule Nigeria and make it a promise land? The yahoo yahoo boys? The runs girls? The young men and women who have turned ritualist n hired killers? The ones that cut deals on the job? The backstabbers? The husband snatchers? The gold diggers? The gossips? The ones that all they do is think about sex everyday? Or Me n u that is working very hard everyday just to better our life and continue to live above the waters? Who exactly are this younger generations? Sincerely if we tell ourselves the truth we all want to live comfortable. I will use myself as an example. Now my staffs loves me. But my dear. If I hit say a jackpot or become the president of Nigeria today my first tout would be to better my life and that of people around me that I love. Now unfortunately that's the line of tout of most Nigerians. Only God can save us. We will keep praying cos the hardship in the country have turned our youths into something else. Most are even worst than the devil.
