This is deep. Our orientation as a people is warped. We celebrate those who run our nation down into the abyss of economic depression, social insecurity, tribal and religious intolerance, etc as they manipulate us for their own selfish purposes while we vent our frustration and anger through jungle justice on people who are just as helpless and hapless as we are and taking a perverse pleasure in doing what is wrong. It's sad. Really.
Let your rage be directed at those who really matter. Else, it's impotent.
