Doctors In House Section

Where are the Doctors?

Dark Itchy Rashes.

Please I need the advice of Doctors in the house.
I have dark itchy rashes on my legs and thighs. And the itching usually comes after having my bath and am sure it's not the bathing water that cause it.
I have been experiencing this for 3years now. I have also noticed that it clears off and after some time it will resurface again.

Here is the picture.

Thanks.

  14. Poster! You said 3yrs? Even if you treat it topically and it returns, then it means you are reacting to something! You have to treat it both on and out so go to a clinic. Any doctor seeing this pix is not enough, they might have to run some test on you, find out what you ate, drank, used before the rash appeared. So pls visit a clinic and do the right thing. Don't take antibiotics, please. Just go to the clinic.

1--include Dettol in your bathing water
2--Try to use moisturizer or moisturizing oil on your skin
    3--Avoid any harsh skin products

  19. I do itch after bathing and recently realized that it occurs when I use sponge. I now soak my sponge in very hot water mixed with dettol for a bit before bathing or I don't sponge at all.
